Morning all All those saying the Burnley game doesn't matter and is an unwanted distraction will be the ones slating us the most if we lose Valuable lesson learnt on Saturday, maybe Leeds were just complacent and overconfident, thinking it was just a case of turning up and strolling to 3 points- they'll know better now
Twat ? is that it seriously m8ty I'm not even going to mention the game apparently all your players had an off day together and I really do believe that that's what it was
Morning all. All those slating the cup would be the ones desperate for a ticket if we did ever make the final. I agree make changes but not wholesale. A loss tomorrow wouldn't be the end of the world but a win or even a good performance would be a massive boost after Saturday's performance. Ipswich is more important and that's when we should judge our response, not tomorrow.
Agree with your sentiments. Whatever the so called tactics one shot at goal in 90 min is not acceptable.
Dyche ex Millwall physical as a player sets his teams up to play with a physical approach not scared to get in your faces will be interesting to see how your lot cope with such tactics Big Mick ex Millwall physical as a player etc etc etc
Mothern SW, Cardiff came out the blocks quickly, but have struggled last few games, same can be said of Ipswich. The Wendies are the drawn specialists (4) and Reading are suffering a play off hangover. Staam could be out of a job in 2 or 3 weeks imo.
It should have been a stroll, it was only little ol' Millwall fo'fuxake embarrassing, worse than the Histon result
Its easy to get carried away by the flying start, there was always going to be an off day and at least the new guys know what they will be up against from quite a few teams. Apart from the rivalry I would rather we gave 3 points to a them as apposed to a challenger team. To say that the team Thomas has been playing was our best team would be premature given the few games he has played. We have a great squad so this might give him some time to find some other combinations and see which players he can use in these situations. I would like him to look at moving to a 442 with a diamond with all 3 from O'kane, phillips, viera & Klich along with Saiz/Hernandez at the top of the diamond. leaving the right and left back to get some crosses in to Lasogga/Grot/Cibki/Roofe. This could be flexible into a 4 3 3 with Saiz/Hern and another forward playing wider when needed. Perhaps against Ipswich at the weekend.
Morning ristac, seemed to me that we were not up for a scrap, and thought they had a god given right to the 3 points.
Morning Doc, that was probably where we fell apart last season, Monk had us playing a particular way, but didn't have a plan B. Actually what he said was we were not good enough yet to adapt a plan B, or words to the equivalent.
Morning Forza, something happened last season after we were knocked out by Sutton Utd. We were not the same team after that...
