We had Iborra on the bench yesterday and didn't even get a run out. Andy King was preferred. What does that tell us?
Only seems to be the mirror saying this. Strikes me as they are guessing based on Shakey saying there's hopefully an update shortly the other day and trying to claim they broke the news first. Typical media
Absolutely... yes King won the penalty but was otherwise rather crap ... Albrighton too was poor ... lost count of the number of times he 'passed' to the opposition. We needed someone who could put a foot on it and time a pass. Iborra ffs! Mooy completely ran the midfield...looks a great signing.
Last season we would have lost that game With Iheanacho getting some minutes and Iborra and Silva avalible I think we will see improvements now
I hope so I really really do but the only site reporting this is....................The Mirror. Enough said I think, too many false dawns already, I'll believe it when the club reports it.
Agreed. For me nothing has changed since yesterday or the day before or before that just because the Mirror has said that. As I said above they are as likely to be trying to claim credit on off chance as having actual information
SkySports referencing The Sun, though this is just likely a copy from Mirror to Sun to Sky SILVA FINALLY SEALS FOXES MOVE Adrien Silva's transfer from Sporting Lisbon to Leicester has finally been given the green light following the 14-second delay which held the deal up on deadline day, according to the Sun. The £22m deal for the Portuguese midfielder has been in a state of limbo since the window shut following the delay in getting the relevant paperwork to FIFA by the required 11pm cut-off, but Leicester will announce this week that there has been a positive outcome to the case at the end of weeks of legal wrangling.
CS: On Silva: I am not sure which way it will go. I was expecting an update this morning. Hopefully he will be with us soon. #LCFC Craig Shakespeare on Silva: “I was expecting an update this morning, so hopefully when I get back we’ll have something”
Craig Shakespeare has also confirmed that Adiren Silva has returned to Portugal SHORT TERM to be with his expectant wife.
Hmm I know he had a knock so if that was the case yes. If he was fully fit and signed properly he may even have moved his wife over already (if she could fly) so he could play. Do players normally miss games if their other half gives birth?
A few are. Yeah I do recall some now I think and other family situations. I guess if it was a Leicester based WAG you wouldn't hear so much as unless it was right before a match the player might want to play the following week
We have some news regarding Silva - our lawyers have done all of the paperwork and have lodged the appeal with FIFA! What is the betting that it'll take them 3 months to look at it and he'll be ablt to join in Jan anyway...
