It was said in the other thread that to make a new one if there was an advance with the transfer. Well, it's back to front.

Coyle - Still no Cahill bids

Trotters boss insists there is no news on defender

Surely, if you are close to signing him, Coyle, someone who wants to get it over with, would tell us and hurry up the process while he is at it. Interesting news if you think about it.

Yeah, although we've seen that kind of thing before "there are no bids for player X"- then 24 hours later he's in for a physical.

Does make it less likely we're in for him though. I'd expect him to have been tied in with the N'Gog deal if we were really getting him. Hopefully we get someone [good].

Yeah, I agree with that :)

But Coyle actually doesn't mind him going though, so he would be the first to admit if there was anything official.

I'm ignoring the speculation, will wait till there is something concrete.

Don't want him, he's ****e. Agger and Carragher are better than him.

I think kks gambling that worst case we can make it through to January with what we've got, and by waiting the price will go into freefall as long as wenger doesn't suddenly change the habit of a lifetime

This is true, if both are fit I would start either over Cahill.
