Bottled the linesman first half,so he didn't dare give it.only works for their cup final, that's why they will go down.<ok>

The thing about yesterday for me ,that it was not only the poor performance, which I can excuse as a one off.but also the embarrassment of loosing to MILLWALL :emoticon-0145-shakefor crying out loud, but that’s perfectly natural,so chin up everyone,As any supporter of a team from any league would also feel the same.:)

    Bad day at the office.

Did it cause carnage? Well, it was a one-goal defeat away from home, not a hammering, and we still remained 1st in the league with the best goal difference, so I don't think so. All part of the learning curve, and we'll rock on.

I can't comment on tactics, as I struggle to see the full shapes etc. on tv - especially on the Charlie Chaplinesque stutter that I watched.

I will pick out one player, though. Millwall's right winger, Wallace was it? Quite a player. If he plays like that all the time, he'll be gone soon. Was it a one-off (Millwall) chaps, or is that regular service from him. He's a gem if it is.

He has been in the Championship team of the week 4 times already this season - had him on loan twice and now signed him - a very good player.

Might have only been a 1 goal defeat, but it was definitely a hammering - could easily have been much much more!!

Nope Elland, Ayling side of Pontus, Berardi at RB and CBJ at LB, Anita is poor and slow, he runs as though he has tight hamstrings

I'd say we lost the battle everywhere! If it wasn't for Weidwald earning his wages for the first time, we could have lost by a lot more. I think it's unfair to pick out Anita, though. I too prefer Berardi, but if I put aside my bias, I have to acknowledge that Pablo left Anita to it (which is one major reason why he got hooked), and let's face it, their right winger was on fire. Berardi would probably have got red-carded :D

Btw, has it occurred to you that Phillips is actually instructed to go forward at every opportunity? Last season he was criticised for not going forward enough! Poor lad just gets criticised no matter what he does.

And yet you want him dropped. Our top scorer in the league this season!

As for Viera, he's also a favourite of mine, and you'd think his style of play would be right up TC's street, wouldn't you? But no - and even Klich is above him in the pecking order. We're now too deep into the season for the 'rested after summer international tournament' reasoning to be believed, so I wonder what the story is there. Simply not performing well enough? Who knows?

Just looked at the championship table first time for a while and I didn't realise what an easy start to the season you lot have had and yet of 8 teams below us we have only played one <yikes>
suppose yesterday was the start of the easy games to come for us <ok>
