Well after reflection/wine I'm most disappointed by the performance rather than the result today. Being honest that's the 2nd performance on trot that's not been great - difference between Tuesday we got a result, today didn't deserve one. Had a couple of minutes before the end of the first half where we pressed them when they were with the ball in their own half where they looked uncomfortable but mainly didn't keep possession well enough to give our defence a break and then start to build and put some pressure on them. After all their attacks without scoring I actually thought we might do a smash and grab but in the end too much pressure so can't complain about the result. Interesting to see how we respond - shame we've got the cup game next and hope we don't bother with a full strength team would prefer all energies and resources to be spent on working out how to respond by beating Ipswich. As everyone says we were always going to lose eventually and not as bothered as some will be about result from Ipswich much more interested in what performance we respond with.

We also have an ongoing injury crisis in defence. Might have fared better with Cooper in instead of Shaughnessy.
Lets face it we lost the battle plain and simple.middle of the pitch we are weak.to me phillips goes forward too much leaving a gap to exploit. Injuries to defenders is the biggest worry and its not going to help. Time to find out what tc is made of because he has to make some changes.roofe was benched but is a trier this is england and our coach needs to learn. No doubt Millwall were the better team. Christiansen summed it up when he said Leeds didn't play with the same intensity as Millwall. this game was a lesson in what will be needed if we want promotion. we have a good squad and they will improve. I doubt that Millwall will play with that intensity many times this season..
