Just got up. Great night out with friends. Too much to eat and drink. And even got talked into standing in with the band on the guitar. Don't play much nowadays, so yeah, really enjoyed it....
Nice. Sounds like fun. I used to dep for a couple of bands so I'd often get called up on stage during an encore to come and play a couple of songs. Love those impromptu moments.
Yeah..it was great fun. Can't really remember what we did (something I drank!) apart from I got them to play The thrill is gone - after I'd shown them the basic chords...I had to do the vocal, and I'm no vocalist.
Went up to Leicester last night for a family reunion that had been planned from the start of summer. Lovely evening. Got to make the most of such events coz life is short and as you get older the only family meets tend to be funerals. Was for that reason that one of my cousin's planned this one. Don't mind admitting that in the hours before the op whilst in hospital, it did go through my mind that they might have one less on the guest list ...
