He certainly seemed to make a lot of mistakes on both sides, including denying us a penalty when JM was pole-axed by their keeper.
And that is exactly what we have needed! Really happy with this. I think Farke assumed he could play fancy continental football and the 2nd rate English teams would just freak out and fold. I like to think he's had a really sharp, sudden shock of a welcome to the Championship. If so, and he's adapted like this, I'm very impressed.
Went into my garden to start the BBQ for some celebratory cheese burgers and jerk chicken but it started to rain...
Pleased with this result. The defence seems to be coming together, which is what we were all asking for, especially now that Mr Martin seems to have finally been found wanting by the coach. Omens for the midfield look good too, more so once Pritchard is back. We are obviously light up front, but I'm confident this will be addressed. This thing was never going to evolve overnight.
I dunno, January? I'm just saying things are looking better. It's England, of course it's ****ing raining!
With Watkins, who played well when he came on today, also able to play up front that shouldn't be too great a problem. There's also Fonkeu and Abrahams as options down the line.
Pretty often. But that's alright. We have had a fair few negative times. So I have no "Beef" with that.
Thanks all for your comments and things are certainly looking up at last. DF has had a 'baptism of fire' re Championship football and has adapted well. It was always going to be a 'learning curve's and I think it was one of the contributors on MFW suggested we should judge DF after 10 games.
Maybe pop and and cook then mate. You live in Ipswich don't you? Are there any places you love? Bar/Restaurants? We went to see Ricky Gervais at the Regent. We went to Coasy Club? Coasy something. Was really nice.
Went to this Adnams pub the Greyhound yesterday very good food and beer. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Resta...ound-Ipswich_Suffolk_East_Anglia_England.html
