It’s been ‘time to go’ since the name-change bollocks began, not just the decline on the pitch (it’s revealing how this appears to be the optimum time for people to ‘lose interest’ though).

On the pitch however, I genuinely still believe there’s more to come from these players and there’s no reason why we can’t climb this division in due course.

Perhaps this scrappy point, against admittedly dire opposition, could be a turning point?

That was an utterly appalling first half performance, which wasn't a surprise, as it was an utterly appalling team selection.

Slutsky's looking increasingly lost with his team selections/substitutions, it's getting concerning.

Meyler deservedly man of the match having only been on the pitch for the 2nd half tells you all you need to know.

As I said - He should be captain and the first name on the team sheet.

When it seemingly takes Burnsy to make Slutsky see, in a post match interview, that Meyler is an integral part of the team then it's very concerning.

Meyler being on the bench was managing his fitness according to the post-match interviews.

Is half our squad unfit or something? Random rotations and players looking knackered after twenty minutes.

First half was appalling , Kingsley , henriksen , hector , grosicki all guilty of just letting players walk past them , not just a lack of ability but a real lack of heart and effort - second half improved a touch, mainly due to Meyler but too many players just going through the motions . That sort of thing starts at the top , I wonder if he has the respect of the dressing room because too many players don't seem to give a **** but still get picked .

Maybe some of those we brought in aren't that fit and that's part of the problem. Those kind of players are cheaper so that's often the kind we buy now.

16,597 attendance announced today, I very much doubt it was over 14,000.

No, it wasn't that. Finally remembered. It was the tune to these lines from In The Summertime by Mungo Jerry-

We go fishin' or go swimmin' in the sea
    We're always happy
Life's for livin' yeah, that's our philosophy

I'd be surprised if it wasn't nearer 12k loads of empty seats in West Lower and East.

Didn't Bradford City declare virtually the same attendance every game all season regardless of the amount in the ground?? A few seasons ago .

We have forwards in the squad who are not suited to the lone striker role, central midfield selection was wrong. Where's Irvine? and myler should have started. Wrong team selection and all this been on international duty is rubbish that was a while ago, its the beginning of the season pick your best eleven. I know its early days and changing a complete team is difficult but the manager has to learn quickly.

I don't know what our new capacity attendance is with West Upper shut, but West lower looked only 50% to 60% full - being generous. East stand was similar.
