Hello all,as you may or may not be aware i am now the Arsenal moderator.I want to be as even handed as possible with the way i deal with posts.I know we are allowed to swear, but i hope we can all agree there has to be a limit to bad language.I believe fans of other teams have the right to post here but i hope we do not get the childish wumming we find on 606
Cym I think each post needs to be taken into consideration on it's own merits. Sometimes swearing is just infantile tosh, sometimes no other word will suffice and it's entirely appropriate. Also, some posts may not contain swearing but are simple inane wum comments - Booby / Doris contributions for example. I think we need to find a good balance between leaving some wums to humiliate themselves and get rinsed by the regulars and deleting the ones that are incessant and simply annoying. Glad you got the mod nod
Well done you old ****. ps Anyone can turn the swear filter on / off, so swearing shouldn't be a problem.
Aye there is a swearing filter, if folk dont want to see swearing then turn it on. Im a Scot, words like **** and **** are words in my everyday volcabulary
I wanted to push the boundaries a bit after being shackled by 606 all these years. Hope I don't get banned for it.
there is a swearing filter...! annoying loser attention seeker wums like berbnanidez should do one... but the funny ones are quite entertaining.
All very well this swearing malarky, hopefully the kids'll get bored of it sooner or later - but can I request that any post including the words 'deluded' or 'arrogant' be immediately removed. Surely these are the words used by those with truly nothing to say.
Don't get me wrong - I like few things more than a good swear me self, but trying to read a post that is little more than a string of expletives will quickly have me moving onto another thread. It's just dull. Like I say, for kids really. Now **** off.
Love? I don't think you know me well enough for that. What kind of favour would you like done? I'm not doing anything dirty.
