This is a great subject for a thread:

Hull based band that seemed to peter out...

A friend of mine was their tour manager, not sure if he's still doing them as he was with Bloc Party too.

Here's a video of a brilliant Canadian band I was involved with. Superb tune and video filmed in Glasgow and Greenock.

Loved this at the time. Didn't know Beady Eye had covered it until I looked for it on YouTube

Bought this when it was Single of the Week in Melody Maker, featured on the soundtrack of some baseball movie (can't find which one on Google, sorry). Thought it would be massive. Did **** all, hey ho.

And finally for me possibly the biggest indie-dance crossover hit of them all, in my head at least. This was a guaranteed floor filler when I used to DJ in indie clubs back then. Single of the week in NME on its first unsuccessful release. When they announced they were re-releasing it a year or so later I thought my original copy would be worth a fortune. Did nowt again. You can't win 'em all.

The 'song' kicks in about 2:50 if you're not in the mood for being transported back to the Hacienda.

Still got the signed cassette sleeve from their album when I saw them live at the Adelphi years ago.

    No worries. It's pretty straightforward.

You just click on the 'Media' icon above the text box you type your normal posts in (it's the one with the picture of a couple of film cells on it) then post the YouTube or whatever link into the box that comes up.
