Well I am going tomorrow so ever the eternal optimist 5- 0 to Spurs - only kidding I would be over the moon with a point but if we played really well and came away with a 2-0 defeat I wouldnt complain

I think this will ne a " Instructional " game and we could see anything in the way of formation or players . The real work for Clement starts the game after to solidify the team and his position as manager.

If we squeak a draw it will be the result of the century so improvement is what I'm after. Looking for a competitive performance, not much else.

I have no sympathy for our rent-boys Abraham or Sanchez at all. We are a premier league football club and its up to them to hold their own in the team, its not our job to accommodate and wait for them to develop. They either earn their luncheon vouchers or play in the U23's, imo they will hold us back and I don't know what we'll get out of them. All we'll see will be the shoots of their development, we wont be able to cash in on either of them. Its getting players on the cheap imo, and as a prem league club we should be far more ambitious.

I hope Clement reverts to a back three with wing-backs and play Clucas, Carroll and Fer ahead of them with Ayew on the right and, this is where it falls down, Roultedge or Narsingh or Abraham on left with striker.Sanchez can sit on the bench until he gets himself ready to play, like I said, its up to him to do it not us to give him the chance.

We've regressed as a club and we have such an odd make-up to our squad I'm very concerned. It feels like we've just been promoted and this is our first year in the prem, that's how far back we've gone imo.

Our team is no longer balanced in my view, we have no pace on the wings whatsoever and it worries me that we do not have a midfield creator, going to be a long season, just hope something will eventually click!

Even a Div2 team can beat a premiership club in a one off and i hope that will happen to us tomorrow.. The odds of it happening are very slim i know but it can happen all the same........What i think we should do now is scout the football world for defenders who dont have clubs and see if any will suit us like Mad Chico for instance, Also i think we need a specialist Defencive coach who can sort our defence out properly because they are all over the place at the moment. There are a lot of teams in the bottom half of the premiership who have the same standard of players as us but they are better organized and better coached in my view.....We can bring in a coach at anytime and that i think will be money well spent...

Surely, defence covers all kinds of defence.

What happened to the Williams fellow ?

If he were in charge, we'd be tight at the back!

No goals conceded against Southampton, no goals conceded against Palace, one against Newcastle and none against Man U until Clement changed the system after 70 minutes.. It is not the defence that is the problem it's the fact that we cannot put concerted pressure on the opposition's defence with our offensive play. We need to get the ball forward quicker and stop the sideways and back passing as much as we do at the moment..
