    He suffered from depression and was due to commentate on our game at Soton last weekend for Absolute, but 'wasn't feeling well'

    Probably wrong to speculate like, but it does sound like a suicide attempt.

    It's very sad to hear. On the interviews I've seen, I though that he generally came over as a decent bloke with a well balanced, considered outlook.

    It just shows how you can never tell what's really going on deep down.

    I hope things turn out well for him.

    I met Clarke before a City game a couple of years ago he had got off a train and was just on Anlaby Road walking to the KC to work for a radio station, had a little chat with him, nice fella, but obviously has demons in his head if his family appealed about him after such a short time missing.
