You can bank on it. A lot of us have been following the club for 30,40,50 years or more and we know when we have a good forward thinking leaders running the club who want to be successful, This lot dont give a dam and all they want is a quick turnover of players to make as much money as they can and will stay with us until we are relegated and they will sell not necessarily as a football ground, I really hope they fail in getting the lease or owning anymore land as i dont trust what they are doing one bit.....I was happy at the beginning but im suspicious of their motives now and i have a fear of what will happen when we are relegated.......Relegation is nothing in it self and will probably do us good but while these guys are the owners then anything can happen....I dont trust them now and sorry i ever did...
I really hope the council dont ever sell the liberty to them. I dont trust what they will do with it......
They won't spend money to buy it. They want to take control via a lease. Trouble is they want everything their own way.
I'm close to thinking I'd happily see us relegated tomorrow if it meant Huw and the Yanks **** off for good.
Be careful what you wish for. Getting back to the top table for relegated Clubs is not that simple to achieve. There are numerous Clubs currently languishing in the lower Leagues who can attest to that. There's a great deal of hysteria being shown towards both Jenkins and the new owners, who have only been in place for a year. I don't buy into any of it. Why shouldn't Jenkins realise some profit from his initial outlay ? One year is hardly enough time to justify any of the abuse, insults, etc., that are now constantly being thrown at the Americans. Considering all the negativity shown towards the owners, if I were in their shoes, and had sufficient monies to take a hit on my outlay, and not worry about it, I would pull the plug on Swansea City. Then you would REALLY have something to complain about. Saturday's to Carlisle, Southend, and a n other ****hole Club. Tuesday's to Scunthorpe, or Hartlepool. I bet you can't wait for that scenario.
I'm sorry to be rude but anyone who thinks that is out of their mind. Although I understand the frustration as we all feel it.
4-5-1 or 5-4-1 is my hope where we settle in this season .I suspect 5-4-1 for this attempt at an away point .
Valley is right in his thinking and he has plenty of fans who think the same....But he and I need not wish for anything , We dont need too as the yanks and jenkins are doing a great job of sending us down the swanny anyway.....We dont need to wish for anything...
I'd rather see us compete and challenge the best teams in the championship, playing decent football, than become relegation strugglers, playing crap football and getting thumped by the bigger sides. That's our future under these Yanks.
They'll pull the plug when they're ready. They'll happily leave us in a mess too if it financially suits them. They rightly get abuse because they PROMISED investment and so far have made a £20-£30m profit, along with selling our two best players.
I never want to see us relegated.... Anyway, I've claimed for "ages" that you and Dai were twins separated at birth.....
Just checked the games coming up and we have Reading (cup) Watford,West ham, Hudders and Leicester and should we have bad results with these games then the writing will be on the wall that our season will be a relegation dog fight and i for one are fed up with that scenario every season......Bony as expected is struggling in training and won't be selected yet. Abraham is young and inexperienced against seasoned defenders and the only one with any sort of ability is Ayew. Fer has done his bit too but the rest Especially in defence are poor and below the standard needed and i have to say this that i dont think clem is good enough to fix things and i can see now why he was sacked by Derby and has been a No2 for most of his career....I hope im wrong but i dont think i am sadly...
Dai - with respect to Bony, I've heard the opposite, in that he's fit and looking sharp. You've seen him training or someone in the know told you? My source is the same one who told me that Bradley had been sacked and that the announcement would be 3 hours later - it was. He also told me that the Clucas deal had been done a couple of days before the announcement. So I'm puzzled?
Maybe we can still sign an expensive , unsigned RB starter instead of a cheap , unsigned cover like Tiendalli was signed at LB taff ( see where I'm going there )
