Well we have three points but Dortmund will still be a handful especially in Germany where I cannot see us winning it. I thought we would win it fairly easily tonight but they did have a good goal disallowed which could have changed the outcome had it stood. Good football but a big piece of luck. Appel were holding out quite well until Real's penalty so I'm fairly confident of a result against Madrid and 6 points against Apoel. But winning in Dortmund? Don't think so. Beat Swansea by a good margin and hoodoo broken.
Since nobody else posted it... By the way, that's another Narrative shattered... Then there's Aurier's perfect moment on the line of genius and insanity A new bromance blossoming One of the approximately 206 players we've been linked with in the past three years than ended up at Dortmund.
what a couple of signings!! Aurier looks awesome. Early days, but he provides everything that Kyle did plus another skill level. Big Dave. Looks like he's been playing with Toby & Jan for years, not days. Talking of which, ridiculous sending off spoilt what was an absolutely brilliant performance from Verts. Eriksen is playing out of his skin, with tremendous effort to match the skill. And Ben D just gets better and better every game. Sonny and Kane will get the headlines, but the team as a whole were fantastic. If I was being critical I thought Dembele got lost in the first half when BD were at their best. But tonight is a night to celebrate a great win! COYS!!
The following Narratives all died this evening Wembley hoodoo Spurs can't handle pressure Kane doesn't perform in Europe Kane can't score against top opposition Spurs will be lucky to get six points in their group Spurs will be fubbernucked without Kyle Walker I will be accepting donations to the memorial fund Meanwhile, if there are any Goons dumb enough to keep repeating the lie that Ozil is the best Number 10 in world football...
I'm fully aware that, by Friday, we'll be hearing about our Premier League Wembley Curse ...followed by our Premier League Against the Top 6 Wembley Curse ...followed by our Premier League Against London Top 6 Teams Wembley Curse
Just seen the first player to dispute the decision of the infallible computerised goal line assistant. Why am I not surprised that it was Cristiano Ronaldo?
It will be like Life of Brian. Apart from the ,,, and ... , what have Spurs ever done to break the Wembley hoodoo ??
Just my prediction hbic. I don't think we're going lose anytime soon. Swansea, Barnsley, West Ham, Apoel, Huddersfield, All winnable and I'm certain a sure fire 6 points in the CL group next match. Dortmund V Madrid? Hard to predict but a Madrid win puts a good distance between us and Borussia.
Harry is top notch...I'd happily give him Sissoko's wages on top of his own. Some high praise for him from the man who says it as it is, Roy Keane.
I said last week that once he scored his 100th goal the goals would flow after that milestone and here they are coming. He ain't finished anytime soon either.
