If the SFA have learned from past mistakes. Representatives from each of the clubs in our Euro 2012 group will meet in Madrid tomorrow to decide the fixtures and dates
****ing genius. Send Frank and Wizgub over as a "heavy mob" We'll send JohnBhoy to confuse the **** out of them with his drunken ramblings and LR can go and just break down to shout "Afghan Whyyyyyy!!!!!!" repeatedly.
This is why Craig Brown was such a good Scotland manager; he knew that we weren't the greatest and played to our strengths. The little nuances make all the difference in football and I see similar qualities in Levein
That's why he'll do well at 'Well. Although their pitch is a disgrace, Pittodrie is shocking too. Have to admit that Ibrox is a lot better than this time last year, it actually has some grass on it.

Thats the best you could get possibly. You didn't want Spain in the boiling hot weather, running about chasing shadows. To get them in October is good because the players will have had time to be match fit & fresh enough to play the non stop running game you'll need to get anything from Spain.
But we don't need any points in Spain FFS. We should have just written that off as a defeat and concentrated on all the other games. This is the third campaign in a row where we've faced the hardest team in the last game. The SFA are fannies.
??? If your writing the Spain match off why give a **** that you play them last? By your reasoning you will have or should have enough points to qualify before the Spain game so what does it matter?
No, not at all. Think you've missed the point here Brum. Would you rather go into the last game if it was crucial against Lithuania, Liechtenstein or Spain? At the end of the day I'd rather Scotland didn't have to go to Madrid on the last day. I understand where you are coming from in terms of writing off the Spain game then it does't matter. But youknow it doesn't work like that, the last game always has the potential to be crucial and I'd rather not have to face the team ranked #1 in the world in their own midden where they are unbeaten for about 4 years.
Doesn't really matter when you play them really. They're the best in the world right now, your best bet was to make sure you didn't play them in September when its still hot, muggy & the players aren't up to full fitness. You can't expect to say we want Spain away in October on this date, Lichtenstein home this date......& get them all. You have to compromise. If you need to beat Spain in the last game of the qualifiers you really don't deserve to qualify. If anything Spain could win every game & play a few reserves, sit back a bit more & you can nick a draw. When it comes down to it you all play each other home & away.
I know I'm just ****ed off the SFA have us playing the hardest game last again. I get where you are coming from completely because at the end of the day you make your own results. I just feel it's another road to nowhere. I can see myself on October 12th 2011 waking up hungover to **** and thinking "Oh, well theres always 2014"
Thats a good fixture list that. Apart from Lithuania away 2 days before I run the Glasgow Half Marathon Really wanted to go to that game as well. Cheered when I seen it was on my birthday as at first I thought the half marathon was the week after
So I'm supposed to fly back from Lithuania on the Sat, get to Glasgow then do the run the next day? More chance of me going to a Wolfe Tones gig than this game now.
