Not the foreign pickpockets, robbers and travellers that dump rubbish everywhere. I like the foreign millionaires that play for WFC.

The Labour Party has a long history of mismanaging government funds unfortunately.

Do you realise that your beloved Tories have increased our National debt by £700bn in 7 years don't you? which compares with £550bn in 13 years from the last Labour administration - which included the bank bailouts in 2008.....

And this whilst having 'austerity' lol.

    They're completely incompetent

Only there was no mess left over from Labour, there was something called the WORLDWIDE crash in 2008 <doh>

Running a supposed austerity campaign whilst cutting 5% off the top rate of tax and slashing £1bn off inheritance tax that'll assist just 26,000 well off families.

    For shame

Mark Price, who quit as a government trade minister a fortnight ago, has warned that Brexit will not solve the day-to-day problems that led people to vote to leave the EU, but instead will make them worse.

Lord Price said he was deeply worried that the UK was set to be distracted by Brexit for years rather than addressing the deep underlying problems that led to the vote.

He is right to say that it is the day to day problems that pushed the vote in the direction it went. As we have seen there are parts of the UK that have been unfairly treated for years creating a two part society. Look around the world and people want change, and how ever illogical what is on offer might be they will vote for it. Just look at where people lived at the time of the vote and you can see which areas of the country thought they were getting the short straw.

Very true that, as they saw it as an opportunity to stick it to the Tories lead by Cameron, that and a lot of the working class Northern areas have plenty of xenophobes and racists like....

The problem is that in a stagnate wage / rising inflation economy those same people will feel the pinch the worst as their disposable income was already squeezed.

I said it at the time, it was Turkeys voting for Christmas ffs.

The general election cost the taxpayer £141m, the Cabinet Office has revealed. In a Commons written statement, the Cabinet Office minister Chris Skidmore said free mail shots for candidates cost £43m and administering the election cost £98m.

And for what? A vanity project for the PM which went so very wrong for her. Now we can see that the election and events that have followed have been about grabbing more power for her. Any sign of her saying sorry? None that I have seen.

No, you are stereotyping me not at all accurately. I enjoy the simple things in life. I am driven by a sense of insecurity, I have a healthy mistrust of the state providing for the individual. Having lived in a caravan for a month when we returned from living in France, it showed us most possessions are surplus to requirement. The only thing that mattered was the family. It is however nice to have cars that are not expected to break down and not worry about paying basic bills.
