I'd say that the idiots "leading" us into this mess are going to miss the foot altogether... and the knee... the aim is nearer the nether regions and right through the femoral artery. Sort of injury one bleeds out from.

Gullible? You're just insulting me now to cover up your mistake.

Do I believe that there are Romanian pickpockets in London? Yes.

Do I think HALF OF ALL PICKPOCKETS IN LONDON are Romanian? No, because it's a lie.

Do you think there are no English criminals operating in the EU? Spain might have something to say about that...

There's a difference between being realistic and being racist. I know which one I am <ok>

The irony is that most of them didn't want it in the first place. More than half of the Tory MPs at the point of the referendum were pro Remain, including the PM obviously.

They're now having to cobble together some form of strategy for something that most of them think is ****ing idiotic.

We've been reduced to trying to blag the EU with a hand of 6 2, whilst they've got a pocket pair and a smile on their faces.

The lack of political honesty is ****e tbh. If they think it's a ****e idea then what's wrong with saying so - even now? Apparently that's undemocratic though, as democracy was apparently suspended in time on June 23rd 2016, so we're heading towards the precipice like a load of lemmings, instead of someone having the political bollocks to ask the Nation whether it still thinks this shambles is a cracking idea......the idea of the populous being consulted again to check whether it still feels the same way, obviously terrifies the Brexiteers though, as they know what the outcome would be.

On this issue we are clearly on the same page. Lost count how many times I've mentioned the lies that we're told. I'm a construction design professional. Thus far there has been no discernible impact, save for the inevitable materials shortages, within the building sector. But it is now an astonishing rarity to find an all-British or even half British site: Poles, Hungarians, Bulgarians, Romanians for the most part, certainly out here in stockbroker country, and undoubtedly even more international as we head into the cities. Once they go over the next few years I'm fairly sure that we will see a drastic skills shortage in the trades from which will take decades to recover.

The economic migrants who've moved here have done so because of the available jobs. They've therefore helped fuel the economy, as without them many of the type of projects that you mention wouldn't have been able to be completed in the timescale that they have, due to the lack of available resource.

The irony is that you've got the likes of SH here lauding the fact that unemployment is now at a 42 year low this morning.........but hang on.....I thought the country was bursting at the seems with EU migrants looking for a free lunch?

Due to the relative high wages in the UK and poor job prospects in the EU there will be plenty of migrants looking to fill the short term contracts offered after Brexit. As long as they have a job lined up and possess the skills required they will satisfy the criteria. They will understand the job offer does come with residency rights. I need the odd bod to clean my car, cut my lawn and drop me to the airport for my hols.

The average wage of a nurse in the NHS is £23,500 approx. According to the leaked immigration paper they would be regarded as low skilled as they earn below £30,000. This means they could work in a hospital for two years, then would have to leave the country. Who in their right mind would go to a country that imposed those rules. We will get in who we want is the mantra, but will those that are needed want to come?

When unemployment is so high in several EU countries the only option for work has been the UK, that will remain the same. I have met Spanish nurses and Portuguese health care workers recently. Most do not want to reside long term just work.

So why is there a shortage already to the tune of 46,000? They are not coming now and it will get worse.

That is the unions inflated figure, The NHS say there are about 24,000 vacancies. Some EU potential nurses may believe some of the fake anti European hype. Asking nurses to contribute towards their training will also not help. The ageing UK population is adding to the rising demand.

Not only will the nursing situation get worse - if this is true, England can expect unqualified doctors too.

The DUP are voting with Labour this afternoon on two subjects. Lifting the pay cap on NHS staff and scrapping the University increased charges. As the government would be defeated they will abstain instead of losing face. They seem to be ignoring the debate however saying that it is non-binding on them.

im not sure if your aware but high wages and a ageing population is not happening here in wales......job prospects are at an all time low and no sign of any investment..............its probably part of the reason we don't see such high numbers of foreign workers taking our jobs>>>>coz there isn't any 2 fking take

Dear God you are a pain.
Independent (Health Foundation) figures suggest current shortage is 30000. More to the point, the Govt. itself estimates that after Brexit the shortage will be 42000. Tell me how that is good news.
I wouldn't mind your insufferable insouciance so much if it wasn't blatantly inaccurate and contemptuously dismissive of anybody's views which don't fit with your idea of the UK.
