You could well be right, when i got her text i thought oh it's the 'we need to talk' moment where she'll say she's done and end it but actually I think it was the opposite and a bit of neediness and cry for attention or something

Sounds like high maintenance too me though lol. Girls like that like you to put the extra effort in so if she's ill, upset etc, she'll be expecting you to make extra effort and sacrifice your hobbies. Not sure if i've seen a girl who will just soldier through it like a bloke Good luck!

Before the many, many years of the eternal battle to find a bird who wasn't a ****ing nutjob soured me into the non caring, cave dwelling neanderthal that I am today I probably would have been nice and talked to her but at the end of the day unless there's a ****ing good reason for her to be crying down the phone after such a short amount of time you need to escape. So yes have that talk and if she is clingy maybe find out why? Might be that she's nice and just been let down a lot but don't get sucked in if she is mental.
Hahaha, that is the current plan. I'm prepared, happy actually to chat with her in person over some drinks and food, but it's mostly to figure out if she's totally mental or not now and also get to the bottom of what the **** it was all about. She's a really really nice girl and I was happy with things until last night ... dating is such a massive ball ache that has also rotted me inside out over the last 5 years trying to find a cool female to actually get into a relationship with and turned me into a cold hearted bastard. Been an interesting journey as well with some proper mad **** along the way, but it would be a good thing to have something with a sane, centred, balanced person. Now I just don't know if this is just more mad **** to add to the steaming pile of mad **** and file away under mad **** whilst hammering the eject button or whether there are underlying reasons here. I don't know anything about her history with our kind other than one serious boyfriend and a couple of others that never went anywhere but no sordid details or further info about how that has impacted her.
