That's were I've been going wrong. I don't read the Mail and the Express and fume about immigrants over my bran flakes, before nipping out to spend some of my final salary pension and returning to my mortgage free property

Interesting stat for you, by the time we actually leave the EU, based on the age demographic in the vote and current mortality rates in that age segment, then all of the 1.4 m Brexit majority will be dead.

The last gift of the baby boomer generation.......who lived most of their working lives with the country being part of the EU and the prosperity that helped generate for the UK.

So now, with nearly 70% of the younger generation wanting that to continue during their lifetimes, the aged and economically shielded baby boomers decide to impose Brexit as their parting shot. Rule Britannia.

"You seem to be living in the past when a company would have their own lorries, but today it is far cheaper to use the specialists who operate carrying shipments from multiple companies."

    That was the whole sentence.

The younger generation should warmly thank the oldies for their superior experience and knowledge that helped to shape the excellent referendum result. They can also thank the EU for giving Cameron absolutely nothing.

That's not how they see it I can assure you.

Cameron did OK when he went to the EU btw, I doubt the Express shared the full details with you though.

Companies 'using their own lorries' means to most people lorries owned by that company. That has not been the case for ages, most companies just pay for third party whole lorry haulage which is different. If you meant that you should have been more accurate in your description.

Not according to the Brexit voting public which is why the decision was to leave.

Most of them hadn't bothered their arses to understand what he'd come back with.

They just knew he'd not got an immigration cap and that Eastern europeans would still be allowed in...

Interesting fact No.2 - in 2016 the net migration figure from the former Estern bloc EU states to the UK was 5,000

regardless of numbers most of those that voted to Brexit want the UK to have control, a reasonable position enjoyed by most countries in the world.

Yeah we've now got the control to bring in more non EU migrants instead, as the EU citizens don't seem to think we're very welcoming any more, odd that.

I don't think the average Daily Mail reader envisaged more brown faces arriving to fill the thousands of unfilled vacancies in the NHS for example as being the outcome of taking back control.......

Yes, we will have the ability to decide on merit and suitability. We will be able to welcome highly skilled migrants from around the world and say no thanks to Romanian pickpockets.

I take it Wayne and Waynetta the doleite slobs are going to be the fruit pickers and farm labourers of this brave new Britain then?

Most of the pickpockets arrested in London are Romanians. If the UK stopped dishing out dole money to those not seriously seeking work then a few slobs may be encourage to find gainful employment.

I assume you can back up that claim with some current police data?

The UK farming industry will be ****ed without EU migrants, which is why they'll still be allowed to come over and do it.

That's the other thing, it's NEVER about racism, it's just about 'taking back control' and stopping the johnny foreigners telling us proud Brits what to do.

Migrants, EU and non EU, will be allowed in on short term contracts with no rights to reside.

Figures from the tube between 2012 and 2013

HALF of all convicted pickpockets on the Tube are Romanian (and officials say the figures are the tip of the iceberg)
    • Of the 170 convictions between 2012 and 2013 52 per cent were Romanian
    • Britons were also guilty of stealing from fellow train passengers
    • Home Office says criminals are liable to be removed if they 'abuse' rights.

Figures released by British Transport Police show half of all convictions for pickpocketing on the London Underground are handed out to Romanians.

Information revealed through a Freedom of Information request shows out of the 5,280 reported pickpocketing incidents on the London Underground between November 1, 2012 and October 31, 2013, there were just 170 convictions.

Of those convictions, 52 per cent were Romanian.
