If Spurs weren't in exile this season, I'd give them an outside chance of winning the league. They haven't won it because they haven't got the resources the top four have. That and the fact Leicester were consistently better than them - though not by much - when the top 4 stumbled. They'll win something under Pochettino. Might not be the PL though. I don't know why I'm doing this, I have no particular love for Spurs. But anyone who is capable of watching without prejudice can see what Pochettino is achieving there.
Alan Shearer won a PL though so we need to look for a new target. Try someone like Robbie Fowler or Jermain Defoe. Not mentioned alongside Alan Shearer or Didier Drogba
Team trophies don't give a fair representation of an individual player. Le Tiss never won anything yet is without a doubt one of the best this country has produced. On the other hand, Luke Chadwick has a Premier League medal. A player needs to be judged on what they themselves do. With 101 goals in 169 games and two Golden Boots at the age of 24, Harry's definitely on his way to becoming one of the best England has produced.
Tiger Woods was on his way to knocking Jack Nicklaus off the top podium too but you have to get there first . Shearer did it , Kane is having a good start but is a long way off IMO
Fair enough...still fixed it for you because I don't think a medal makes you a top player as opposed to being a **** one because you haven't won one and I don't believe you believe that either. You telling me Okazaki then Robbie Fowler? Give over Bobby. Or maybe you do believe it all, after all Chelsea are raping their feeder club on a regular basis nowadays based on that assumption. You need to buy Huth next.
Because I replied to your post? What do you think I come on Not606 for? Sober up Lieb..it's almost Monday evening
Yeah course, I'm not saying Harry's there yet but if he stays on track and continues the sort of form he's been in over the past three years then there can be no doubt in my opinion.
Absolutely...no one says he has made it Roofus...but the butt hurt on here is glaringly obvious over his talent LOL
The argument wasn't **** players can't win medals. It was to be elevated from great to being even greater (or actually as the title suggests, the greatest) means you need something a bit more tangible than banging in goals. Dragging your team to trophies is the sign of someone who is really really great . It is surprising though that for the number of great players you have (supposedly the best 11 in the league over the past 2 years), that having "one of the greatest" strikers hasn't pushed you on for a trophy of any sort
Prior to Kane wasn't Rooney the England's would be saviour? I somewhat picture the spluttering Kane as another Rooney in the same role.
