Maybe the fans shouldn't so easily believe all the media hype and get on his back then? Maybe if the fans supported the players and didn't sing silly songs about them they would be more likely to remain loyal to us? So let's hope that for the game everyone cheers on Nasri - gets singing some we love Samir songs! But if he is in negotiations and can't decide if he should go or not, we make it alot easier for him to decide if we boo him and push him out the door.
If he plays its going to be so awkward everytime he touches the ball. And god help him if we go behind in the game.
If he plays everyone should get behind him and support him as if none of this transfer rubbish is going on. As far as i am concerned he is still an Arsenal player and we could use his ability against Liverpool. Hopefuly we give him a good send off if he is going - and if he isn't it'd be good not to be booing him So either way - be nice guys.
Yep, I'm not liking the reputation we're slowly gaining about becomming 'that club' who turn on their players. I'll cheer him on whole-heartedly should he play and think he's a little sheister when he leaves. Until such point though he will get my full support.
Yep i think our fans although frustrated by the club have started to get a reputation due to all the whinging and moaning we do, not to mention the booing of our own players. I think its time we get behind the team - any player who is still at Arsenal should be treated well - get annoyed when he has actually left. If he can help us get a result against Liverpool he will have done one last good deed. And if he plays i'd rather he plays well than gets frustrated at being booed. Remember that the players have enough pressure on them without us making it more difficult for them.
I wish I could share your optimism about Nasri, the battle as regards keeping him has already been lost, Arsenal and the Keystone clowns in charge of securing player contracts know that already, all that is left is securing the best possible deal financially.... We can debate how they let it get to this situation, knowing the Fabregas situation (it was only a matter of time) and Nasri was his natural successor, focus should have been on tying him to long term contract...... I have never known a so-called big team losing 2-key members of their starting 11 at the same time appear so reluctant to replacing them, (I guess Manure lost Ronaldo and Tevez at the same time, but Tevez was never theirs to keep)......
Yeah, the whole thing's very frustrating for you all, I'm sure, but it's better to laugh about it then to let it get to you. If he goes, then you'll get a decent fee for him, anyway. If that's reinvested in the right way, then you'll probably be better off.

It could be as a result of Nasri playing City off against United and Wenger telling him enough is enough! It could be that Nasri has asked to play so that he retains an element of fitness while his deal is still to be finalised. It could be a load of cobblers. It could be a number of things....
Wot if he sustains a bad injury? out 'till Christmas or the rest of the season? Wenger would be a fool to play him unless he's sure his future is at the Emirates. And a fool if he dont cash in on him if he refuses a new deal.
Some interesting points raised here ,but ill add another, If Nasri does want away and it seems to be the case do we really want him playing in an arsenal shirt, given his little fracas on twitter regarding the fans at newcastle last week, will he be professional enough to shrug it off and give it his all for potentially his last 90 minutes playing for us or will he revert to his december 2010 ghost status during the game?
