They Have much better defenders than us...The took the 3 points away from home... deserved as well.....With us well.....we had no clue what to do with all that possession....
Easy to say when you go home with the 3 points......We expect a higher standard of football this season after the poor season we had.......This looks to be worse..
Past Fab , no one got a higher rating than Fer ..... but the beat goes on with " The Chosen Few " around here . . Mawson is going to be a problem folks , seriously , no one had a lower rating than him and his man got the 3 points ...Great game from Fernandez .
Apparently, Sanches lost the ball 23 times today - once every 3 mins he was on the field. He will need to get up to speed ASAP or Clement will have a problem if he continues to keep selecting him......
So Mesa is allegedly not yet up to speed despite a full pre-season and getting an hour against United. Yet Sanches arrives on Friday, has hardly featured for Bayern, yet starts and plays 68 minutes. Something doesn't ring true. Surely he wouldn't have been as profligate as Sanches today?
Personally Valley, I thought he did ok today - better than Mawson. However, why we continue with zonal marking at set pieces is beyond me - and seemingly beyond the players!
Not great but early days with the new line up options so il give it time,we will win again ! 40% for todays mess though.
Fer is the only decent player we got......We are the pretenders in the Premiership and the sooner we are relegated the better we will be......Talk is cheap and we can all make excuses all we want but the fact is we are rubbish with a rubbish manager who did nothing in the transfer window to strengthen the team and improve on the past two seasons.....Nobody in football fancies us this season and they are right.....We dont deserve to stay up...
I disagree with most on here that the defenders were the problem. Our midfield was inept which meant our defence was under too much pressure it also meant our front men had to feed of scraps. I will make no comment on Sanches as a day and a half to get to know his team mates was not enough and he shouldn't have started. Clucas' first thought was to pass the ball back, Fer showed his usual recklessness and ccnversely made no effort to win some 50/50 balls and my mate called him a lazy bastard. Carroll was lightweight and went missing too often. We were crying out for a leader and playmaker in mid field. Why was Narsingh brought on so late when we were chasing the game with barely enough time to warm up.
Yes looks like it. We reap what we sew.....No sympathy at all.....we dont belong here it's as simple as that...

As a club of course we do ! We are in the same position as the rest of the clubs, apart from the big London, Liverpool and Manchester clubs, most of whom we have competed against at various levels over the 58 years I have been a Swans fan. Whether we are good enough as a team we will find out as the season goes on.
We will not play that bad again this season. RS will learn from that game. We all thought,me included and the players that all we had to do was just turn up.Wakey wakey.
www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41221250 Clement has "delivered a withering assessment of his side ". The article, however, would seem to be more of " a withering assessment " of his managerial ability, not to mention that of his background team.
