It's an ill wind that blows no good and I'd have given anything to have witnessed Ehab's expression when he was informed of the seriousness of Abel's injury, and that beautiful moment when it dawned on his mush that his £10m to £20m transfer fee had just gone up in smoke. The absolute **** him!
This promotion thing? if it happens could a bare bottom be classed as culture (you know like arty stuff) Is there still a Burtons in the centre and do they have a nice shop window.
Why? It didn't, to me, appear Abel was going anywhere. That's harmed the club and us him getting a terrible injury. I don't understand your, pleasure here lbia.
From the glorious leaders latest propaganda speech Interesting points from 14min interview for me: 1. Maguire deal was dependant on us having first refusal on Musa. Musa *uc*ked us over at the last minute. 2. Clucas had his head turned and asked to leave. 3. Hernandez would have gone if not for his injury. 4. Huddlestone was his favourite player (not so favoured as to offer him a new contract though!) 5. We're buying a machine from Australia which can predict injuries before they happen. (Don't believe everything you read on ebay Ehab). 6. Wouldn't comment on whether or not he was bothered Turbo stayed.
Because Chazz many of us thought Clucas was going nowhere, the rest is history. Someone would definitely have been in for a 20+ a season Championship striker, and we all know that Ehab would have taken the money. Trust me on this, Ehab took an almighty smack in the chops when Abel was put out of action for six months, especially considering the fact that he has allowed the strikers contract to run into its final year, obviously meaning that he'll have the choice of leaving for a big fat zero at the end of this season. He's at least £10M down, and it couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke.
The only person harming g the club is Allam not the injury to Abel. He was lined up for a move after starting the season well so he wouldn't have been putting a Hull shirt on anyway. Like you said it couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke.
Clucas was always going to go. Hernandez was never going to sign another contract with us. No matter what. Up to you but it seems to me you're revelling in our player getting an horrific injury.
Are you having some sort of a break down? Lbia has put his opinion. I disagree. We aren't going to fall out over it. You seem a little hysterical
I'm not celebrating his injury at all Chazz, just the silver lining that meant that Ehab missed out hugely financially.
I get you if he doesn't. He was t playing for us this season anyway. And Ehab's £10 million light as its happen the welfare of the club is secondary to him.
Mind you I'm absolutely gutted he got injured He was our best striker, and actually in my opinion he does try hard when given half an ounce of service Even if you think it's funny that Ehab might have lost a transfer fee, I'm afraid that also could slow Ehab's exit down (if he was ever thinking of going which I still don't think he is)
I understand what you're saying however, for me, I'm taking the one single positive out of an horrendous injury to possibly our most important player. The beauty of this situation is that Ehab had no choice in the fact that he'd just lost between £10m and £20m, whereas he totally has a choice in whether he sells the club or not, and he'll only agree to sell if it totally suits his agenda.
