Having got to Chantilly two hours early, I thought I would take a walk around town starting at the château. Unfortunately there is some sort of vintage car event on so it is very busy. The racecourse is sparsely populated but noticeable that there are quite a few Japanese here. Racecards have reverted to being free today and there are details of a six big race championship in which the last two races are the Vermeille and the Arc; and Frankie is currently third just eight points behind the leader. The owner just as good as told French TV that Cracksman will not be back in three weeks.
Best horse in the race but she wants 1m4 on fast ground, assuming thats why Moore picked Rain Goddess.
Agree, I believe its down to him not really being full time in the yard, Murtagh and Joseph Obrien got it right much more often because they knew the horses better from being there every day imo. But in this case, he knows Seventh Heaven inside out. He has picked against her quite a lot though and got it wrong a few times.
Goes of odds on, just my luck of late so therefore I'm giving up on horses now for the rest of the month.
On the PMU on track they currently have Journey as 3/1 favourite - she has done nothing this year. Clouded over and a few spots of rain at Chantilly now.
Looks like they have found Caravaggios trip lads, if only someone had known sooner. Can still pick up the BC Turf Sprint.
