I do have an elderly neighbour who has a bit of a pastis problem. It can be quite alarming to find him waving a double barrel shotgun around just behind you.
Morning all, bright and breezy here. This site still seems rather unstable at present. It has taken several attempts to get onto it.
http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....e-on-burnley/story-30509323-detail/story.html Zeegelaar, Zarate and Sinclair all playing for U23s against Burnley this afternoon. Not that they're making a difference - Burnley leading 1-0 after 12 minutes...
Afternoon, Dave; afternoon, all. Lawnmower emergency yesterday. It seemed to being going well then massive oil leak. Out with the electric screwdriver, trying to find the source of the leak before it finished leaking. The front cap had vibrated off. Lost a lot of oil I've had to replace today.
Noticed that the tickets for the away game at WBA had gone on general sale, so as I will be over thought I might potter along with the son-in-law. I have bought tickets in the past for home games for the whole family on my fan ID, but cannot navigate the system allowing me to do it now. They have to have IDs as well. The ticket office assured me in the past that the family had IDs but looking at some old tickets they all had mine on them. E-mailed them to find out what to do, and no doubt by the time it is sorted there will not be any tickets left.
What great service. The ticket office actually found the IDs necessary, which has allowed me to buy two tickets. It may not be the Vic, but at least I will get to see the team.
I have a slight pastis problem too...obtaining a regular enough supply of a Provencal variety from Henri Baudouin. Lovely stuff, but don't tell anybody!
No arrangements have been made yet Brian apart from getting tickets. My s-i-l who is coming with me claims to be a QPR fan and was quite horrified to find out that he had a Watford fan ID number.
Glad you got some tickets. Interesting, I must have an ID number from way back so there will be a chance if I come back to Blighty for a bit.
