Im in hitchin and going to the games on sat so im not sure im ok . Thanks for asking .i was about 15 hours drive from Harvey ,plus in about 3 hours from the coast and they run out of power the further inland they try and go .so i will be fine once im back

Morning all, first sign of autumn here with the sound of gunfire to start an otherwise peaceful Sunday morning. The use of guns for hunting is very strictly controlled with a permit required. To obtain one you have to sit an exam that deals with the environment, life cycle of different animals, and safety measures when out with a rifle. There used to be reports a few years ago of people getting shot in accidents, but now high visibility clothing has to be worn, and that seems to have stopped. When I disappear down the fields on a Sunday I always put on something bright.
