Full of admiration for the way Watford are playing. Pressing well, working hard, breaking quickly and in numbers. Although they weren't creating anything, I thought it was only a matter of time before they scored, simply because they were the only team in it. Our formation (4-4-1-1?), just isn't working. We're not competing in the middle and they are cutting off the supply to the flanks. Really need to switch to 4-2-3-1, or similar to stop them rampaging through the middle, whilst Boufal and Redmond watch from the wings. Wasn't surprised by the booing but was by the number doing it. On the bright side we can't get worse than dreadful, can we?
We play like this against one of the big boys we really are going to get properly steam rolled. Still 1-0 down and still in it, time to turn it around .
Creative recruitment has been poor for the last few windows. Tried and tested PL stars cost and we wont pay. Puel and now MP need to start polishing the odd turd and hope for the best.
I wonder if Lamina has a knock or fitness issues, he's clearly the substitution we need. I'm glad Pellegrino is taking action, but I don't think Tadic will make a huge amount of difference, as the ball is not getting through the midfield two to the attacking 4. As it is, Watford will continue to dominate the midfield.
