Dembele and Son benched, three centre-halves and we've got two right-backs on the bench.

I just hope Everton don't park the bus against us, which they shouldn't being at home. If they do, we're gonna have a long 90 minutes of Trippier and Davies not offering us much out wide.

Well that team selection has done nothing for my confidence ahead of what already looked a difficult match - One eye on Dortmund maybe, but I think this needed our full attention

Concerned re Trippier. He clearly hasn't recovered from his pre seadon injury as his performance against Burnley showed.

Sissoko...his start against Toon was pretty woeful after the first 10 minutes so that isn't filling me with confidence either.

Dier has been poor all season imho and no Wanyama or Dembele is a big miss.

Lloris always concedes at Boodison Park and Kane has obviously got bored of winning golden boots.

    In short ... :emoticon-0183-swear

Does this mean that Sissoko is finally deployed centrally? This could be a very good thing..

    .....or just. :emoticon-0183-swear

No doubt its going to be a tough game. Everton have got a lot of number 10's in their side who all want to play centrally and they may lack width. Have we got the pace and ability in wide areas to exploit them? probably not especially without Aurier and Rose.

Fantastic to see Sanchez starting, this kid is going to be some player. It makes sense to not throw Aurier in at the deep end after having only one training session at Spurs. Hopefully we will see him on Wednesday.

Kane is due a goal and Eriksen has been on fire recently so i think we may just edge it.

I understand maybe saving Debleme for the CL given he played for Belgium, but way can't we have Winks instead of Sissoko?

Would be nice to see Aurier at some point, especially if things get stretched.

According to the BBC, Sissoko is on the right :( with Alli in the middle alongside Dier.

    Back three looks solid though.:emoticon-0137-clapp

I will say this, it's nice to have a variety of potentially potent options on the bench. I feel like it's been ages.
