Agree, Henriksen isn't a holding midfielder, so playing him there was a waste of a place. I'm baffled why Slutsky bothered with it, a half sleep deprived Irvine would have been more effective. Henriksen's best position is AM, if he's going to play Toral then there's no place for Henriksen. Whatever the bother, the game wasn't lost in midfield tonight, it was poor defending.
The second point definitely. And without the aid of replays what looked to be poor goalkeeping. The free kick was straight at him and the second goal I knew exactly where that ball was going as soon as it was passed backwards, yet he never even so much as twitched a muscle. The penalty goes in I think it's a different game although I think we'd still have got beat. It wasn't great anywhere on the pitch but there was always that feeling that we might score a few, just it was accompanied by a feeling that we might concede a few more. Our defence is ****ing atrociously poor. Apparently all good players in their own right but none of them work together.

i said davies and dawson are past it i still stand by it dawson is past it, hector seems to not know defending basics, he has the good stuff, but forgets the basics aina once again is not and never will be a good right back kingsley was like max clark 6 months ago henricksen was absymal, should never play again larsson was bang average cause he is bang average mcgregor was poor, why move 1 yard just as the kick is taken can't really blame him for any of the goals overall to be fair get meyler in there we need bite and energy in the midfield we will win many games by a decent amount of goals but i think we will have a few hammerings 9th place finish

Our defence is poor, that is beyond a doubt, but it was massively troubled because of our inadequate midfield. Two wrongs never have made a right and last night was no exception.
