Verbal Dexterity 10/1 in the National Stakes on Sunday.

Caravaggio drops back to 5f and its a briefcase job.

The Moyglare looks some race as expected, Obriens 4 and Alpha Centauri, quite surprised that Moore has ditched the Debutante form and Magical, or maybe they are just giving Donnacha a G1.... whatever wins will be a strong fav for the Guineas. Having a small interest on Active Approach e/w at 50/1.

Had a big lump on Winter at evens, not touching the other race.

Slightly tempted to do an each-way "Frankel G1 double" with Eminent (5/1) and Queen Kindly (40/1)

    Haydock 2.25pm

Queen Kindly 40/1 each way. Won the Lowther last season...ran in the 1000 guineas and tried 7 furlongs earlier this season. The signs to me are that she is improving and 6 furlongs is her bag. I think she is primed for this, although the big question is will she handle the ground. I am not sure but at 40s I will take a chance and with 3 year olds having a good record in this race plus the dam finishing runner up in this its all pointing to a big run at a big price.

    Ascot 2.45pm

Shady McCoy 14/1 each way 5 places. Horse has been there or therabouts last couple of runs and back down to last winning mark although with the addition of a pretty talented apprentice on board is even better off. Generally runs well at Ascot and I think will handle the cut in the ground so fingers crossed for a big run.

See my post Princess. Not sure whether Queen Kindly will handle the ground but I am hoping so. I think the other Fahey runner Growl could run a big race...

I have Churchill in a double with Eziyra from earlier in the week.

I wouldn't touch Winter even though I can't see anything to take her on with. The vibes seem to suggest she hasn't done anything since York.

I was really impressed with Riyazan when he won at the Curragh. 3/1 looks a decent price.

Machine Learner should haveva good chance in the 4.35. They didn't go gast enough in his last run and the form behind UAE King would give him a great chance against a lot of exposed horses.

I think Suedois is a class above most of the field in the Boomerang.

For my Saturday plunge will take a chance on Sir Michael Stoute's Melting Dew e/w in the 3:55 Ascot. Could well be improving, we'll see. 14/1 in six places at time of writing.

Brilliant stuff. Typically from Hayley, she slightly crabs Kirby's ride and makes excuses for the Tin Man. Admit it, lady THE BEST HORSE WON!

    EMINENT 6:45 Leopardstown
Great front running performance LTO in France, good time, should enjoy the easier ground. Can slot in behind the pacemaker and run the sting out of Churchill/the rest from 2-3f out. Question remains on whether he can settle well enough to execute plan.

Benbatl is quite a tempting price here. Must be better than these surely? Even if this is the wrong trip.

Only joint top rated on OR with 2 others a point behind. 7-2 short enough I'd think. Morando is my coin flip :)

Just listened to Blower's last spell with TMS. Farewell to a legend and the last link between TMS and my very fond childhood memories of listening to those great commentators describe the action.
