Is it 2 up front thought or is it one up top and Ayew or Abrahams dropping deeper and becoming a second when attacking. If he does play 2 then it has to be Bony right up top with Abrahams in the deeper role as Bony wont have the legs. Be interesting to see what he does.
I suspect Clement will be thinking of using Bony up front as the hold up player with either Abraham or Ayew playing off him both of whom have the pace to do this. Look forward to seeing the game on Sunday although I will be surprised if Sanches starts as he doesn't link up with the team until Friday and even then probably won't have a full training session with us
Now this is where you are wrong, Bony is a big player, Ayew is not, and I will remind you of that when the beast gets up to speed and starts banging them in for fun!........
Clement had no probs firing Clucas right in and even without training I suspect he'll fire Sanches straight in too . Could be wrong , but that's what my money is on
Ayew would run rings around bony...well everyone would really as he is slow and not very mobile and unless we can put enough crosses in right to his feet we wont get anywhere. Where bony may do good is corners and set pieces where he is a good header of the ball but as for being quick then he is not and younger players should be prefered. This was the reason Man city dropped him very quickly and Sparky tried him and dropped him for his slowness and immobility reactions.....I hope he will do well but i have my doubts as the game has moved on since he played with us. Ill give him a chance but i'm not expecting much...
JJS will probably raise his game against us. Most players don't do well when they leave but do seem to play well against us. E.g. Bony, Graham . Or is it my imagination?
I think Bony's only goals came in one game last season ... against us and Graham also played his best against us I think ..I believe players playing better against their old clubs is a fact a lot more than fiction .
You are probably right mate, but and I hate saying it, have a good feeling about this. Think the additions will lift the side, expecting a good performance. By the way roof, Garden Village u19's won our first game sunday 4-1 away at Newcastle Emlyn in the faw youth cup. Our reward is a home tie against Llanelli, a much bigger club but a real local derby, the boys cant wait.
I'm not sure how he comes to that conclusion when there will be several new players in the Swans team and I assume in the Newcastle side. We're at a stage when players are bedding in so anything can happen. There's three points up for grabs, let's hope we can pull if off to turn a reasonable start to the season into a good start to the season
I feel we have a very good team under our 2nd best Premier League manager. Just my opinion but Im super confident for this season and confident in another good window in January under Clement's vision
