He was getting stuck in and challenging for the ball and making his runs, if Klopp doesn't have him on the bench on against City the rift between them is deeper than Klopp made out.

Next time you're watching us play, (and we all know you watch every game), take a little look at the number of passes, and the % accuracy, exercise your ingenuity and see if you can cram that into your warped view of how we play. <ok>

You're right there's nothing complicated about it at all, but whatever it takes to get the ball forward quickly, Everton aren't doing it.

Not yet, new players bedding in and the movement has been too slow, we've not been moving the ball quick enough, as they've not been anticipating each others movement, and we've been too ponderous on the ball as a result. It'll improve.

Who could have #predicted that buying 10 players would be disruptive #mastertactician

At least it can't get worse than 20th out of 20 but you still don't have pace or a target man and any intricate play will #fail at Rooney's touch

We've got plenty of pace in the squad - DCL, Sandro, Lookman, Lennon, Mirallas and now Klasnic.

We haven't got a target man, so will have to adapt accordingly - you haven't got a target man btw......

Look lads, my opinion on all this is we all have to pay for the sins of the past.

everton have to pay for years of bill kenwright not having the money to invest. while others have the ground being built or stole it from the athletics world :bandit: everton are only getting there and only building their side. They HAVE the youths though. its how they protect that system now thats crucial

LFC are paying for G&H still. our years where development should have occurred but did not plus years of selling our best players or years of neglect of local talent all led to a situation where we are now in. LFc have invested in Training ground, team, stadium.. and got a little youth success lately. Its all playing catch up.

the fact is impatience is the enemy of development.

Look at spurs, they grumble a lot about their team, they are building a world class stadium and have quite a decent first team and their youth system works... why.. cos daniel levy has wisely managed them over along period

Look at chelsea. whinging an moaning and poor mouthing when in fact they have been managed wisely for many years by RA's guys to be where they are. 70mil next spend and they are poor lol... stadium development i ntrain, youth system generating players they sell all the time etc etc.

Look at city or utd... all well run.

Our clubs have not been well run and need to have a longer period of stable administration and funding to grow the clubs stature and infrastructure

Ronald Koeman needs to be in the top six of the premiership at the end of the season taking into account how much he spent.

    why?
about 45mil net spend is not that impressive

    bournemouth did 30mil

    chelsea did 70
    city did 120-130 mil
    utd did 140mil
    arsenal did -13mil <laugh>
    we did 40mil
    spurs did -9mil

so.... you know by this logic LFC are shoe ins for 4th with everton 5th but logic says the only clubs everton can catch based on transfers is spurs and arsenal.....

yet we know both have a lot of good players.

IMO the only criteria for saying who will do best are quality of coaching and squad ability.

Arsenal have looked like wenger staying is a huge error (they will prob now win 10 in a row or something) so they might be caught but no way will spurs be caught by us or by everton imo over 38 games.

I keep saying this when fans are screaming for spend, spend, spend on over-priced players, and get the stadium done yesterday, and whatever else they're not happy with that they think throwing money at will solve.
Our club was in a mess, and it needs careful management to ensure stability for the future.

Ronald Koeman needs to win something to justify selling Lukaku and spending the money.

haha, seeing MITOs response following by Dribs re-iterating the same message.... is he secretly on the troll <laugh>

Chelsea got more ins than outs, we still got the Costa money that will be coming in Jan no doubt and you need to account for our Oscar lottery win in Jan MITO <cheers>
