While I was waiting for a cafe con leche, I picked up a copy of the sports page of the local paper here in Mallorca, regarding net spend of La Liga clubs in the transfer window. Well the greatest club that has ever been, the club that can put Manchester United in the shade with their achivements, greatness and talent, had a net spend of + 90m euros. Meanwhile our favourite La Liga team had a net spend of 0 euros. Nothing paid, nothing received. Let's hope they can win the Europa League!!!
14 seconds past the deadline so he is ineligible to play for them. However it was completed so they own him and still have to pay his wages - they just can't play him
Pretty sure they can't even loan him out as then he would've played for Sporting for and his loan team in a season meaning he can't play for Leicester until next season
Apparently they had been given an hour's extension already to complete. I think the decision will be changed, but if you allow it to go through where do you draw the line....5, 10, 15 mins. Not as if the deadline was a secret.
i think it depends if you see this as sport or business. if you treat transfers as part of football then i think the rules need to be enforced strictly and leave little ambiguity to ensure fairness, whereas business can be far more flexible.
Completely agree - and this has nothing to do with me being jealous that they have signed a player I would have liked to have seen in the Saints team
Either those are real or somehow sky have some been fooled into believing those are real, either way....
West Ham snatch the 'Plonkers of the Transfer Window' trophy from Leicester at the very last moment. The email is 1) fraudulent or 2) evidence of the childish level Sullivan operates at or 3) both "We wish to conclude this asap or we'll be borrowing aplayer from PSG" Is this Aplayer any good? Should we be looking at a loan for this chap?
If that seriously is their proof, they should have just stuck with the original humiliation. Hilarious.
