Everyone in the Outer Hebrides seems to think Stornoway is a dump. Except, I assume, the people who live there..

There is just something about the Midland club places i absolutely detest.

There is no such town called Port Vale. It is in Stoke. My wife's Family are from Stoke so I dare not include it. I extended the criteria to include cities as well as towns.

Ipswich is a wonderful old town. It's the influx of asylum seekers and low-born scum that has brought about its recent decline - much like many of this country's historic settlements.

There is no such town called Port Vale. It is in Stoke. My wife's Family are from Stoke so I dare not include it. I extended the criteria to include cities as well as towns.

I thought Port Vale was in Burslem.

I like Aberdeen, but hard to argue how depressing it looks when the weather is poor!

'New towns' such as Harlow, Basildon and Milton Keynes are depressingly concrete in design and structure. Yuck!

Getting back to football related towns ....Dagenham & Redbridge wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing of places

Possibly because you have to travel through the East End of London on the District Line to reach it.

Been there on holiday yonks ago, I found it quite a nice place (to visit).
Certainly a welcome sight after the ferry was caught in a storm. I was heave-hoing for hours, but as soon as I was on dry land again a ravenous hunger for cafe grub possessed me and I made straight for the nearest greasy spoon.

Beautifully bleak wild country around there. One day I might retire to somewhere truly remote like that.
