Dele seems really off his game tonight. Gets into good positions but his touch is all over the place.

He's been like that all season, in my opinion.

I think a lot of strikers would've gone over that leg.

Alli and Kane on the pitch. Which England and Spurs players scores? Dier, obviously.

Set piece goal - about the height of England's capabilities against any half decent opponent.

Is Dele expected to play the no.10 role for England? There are no creative players in that midfield. He isn't a no.10. His role is more fluid for Spurs and with a creative player like Eriksen able to get on the ball and play good passes high up the pitch, he doesn't need to be so creative himself. Like all the England players, he looks better at club level with better players around him.

Walker missed the ball and took out the player, that could have been a red card!

It's not just better players, but more suitable ones.
None of that midfield are anything above an average passer of the ball.
Who's supposed to create the chances for the likes of Kane, Rashford and Alli?
There's no point in having all of that firepower if nobody's loaded the gun.

Great skill from Dier for the goal but otherwise England have been misfiring and Slovakia deserved their lead.

Walker seems to have gone a bit 2013 season
outside of the Pochettino gravitational field.
