Makes you wonder why they hate the word "Hull" so much.

Mighta been interested if it had Hull City on it. As it is, no, have better ones already.

Seriously, why the reluctance to put our proper name on it?

    Hull City.

Doesn't take up that much space, seems to fit neatly on my other scarves, just seems utterly bizarre given the recent past.

    There isn't a reluctance.

Making a black and amber scarf with 'Hull City' on it would be trade mark infringement.

Ironic, considering the ****ers try everything possible to avoid using the name, but it's true all the same.

Hence the use of HCAFC, which technically the club could also object to, but that would be really funny.

I would not replace my old black and amber striped scarf for the world, bought from Sugg’s sports (now Siesta Travel), for Ipswich away 1966. Proper double thickness with tassels, can turn an end in on itself and wear as a hat, (not me though), It is still virtually as good as new but has only been used at matches.

    Come one...you know exactly why
It was on this very forum that there were calls for HCST to produce merchandise that was obviously ours, but could get round trademarks etc

I had a favourite scarf . Must have had it for 15 years until we played away at Mansfield years and years ago.

About 10 of us sat around the back of a van . No seats just a corrugated floor. A lot of ale had been drunk and my best mate was trying to piss in an empty beer flaggon. He ended up pissing all over the floor. Everyone had to press themselves even harder against the side of the van while steaming piss sloshed about in the middle of the floor. My mate grabbed my scarf and used it to mop the piss up. Instantly the amber dye turned white. ****ing hell I had a Hull FC scarf and to top the day off I think we went 3 down within the first 10 mins.

Just remember some City nutter screaming " I said Mansfield I said ****. I said ****ing Mansfield I said ****ing ****" for 90 minutes.

    HULL CITY
    Supporters Trust

I distinctly remember you telling me you actually preferred the name Hull Tigers.
    That I won't forget.

You think you could knit 'Hull City Supporters Trust' into one scarf?

Not sure how much demand there'd be for an 8ft x 3ft scarf.

    Stop digging ya daft ****.
