Are people coming to this thread actually expecting to hear about us signing more players? I don't get it.
Goes to show though a deal isn't over the line til it's over the line. Clubs and agents changing their prices at the click of their fingers.
Abel Hernandez's agent claims interest from numerous this summer Pablo Bentancur, the agent of Hull City striker Abel Hernandez has claimed he striker had domestic interest from a couple of clubs this summer. At the end of last season, the Uruguayan striker was believed to be one of the favourites to leave the KCOM Stadium this summer, but as summer wore on, the likelihood of him leaving continued to decrease. If the striker was hoping for a transfer, all hopes were dashed after being rules out for six months with an Achilles injury. Nevertheless, his agent has told Italian news outlet Tutto Mercato that Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Birmingham City were among a number of clubs interested in signing the 27-year-old this summer. “He had an important market, strong interest from Aston Villa and Birmingham, they wanted him at all costs, and there was also a chance to go to Newcastle,” said Bentancur. “It’s a bad thing, but football is the way it is, Abel has strength and is young, he will be back.”
It's an anti-social media thread. Get ****ed. I should put a smiley face or ninja face thingy here but I don't do them, they're childish & I'm mature.
Having watched that video about transfer deadline day.. I just feel that we could do without agents. Can it be that hard for an intelligent young footballer to contact football clubs himself, get some offers in, compare if you want with the market rate but at the end of the day, sign for a club where you can play most games and will make your way up the ladder. Plus if you cut out these agents, you might just free up extra cash for your own salary.
This is very similar to Grosicki who has been condemned for it. Both clearly desperate to to be wanted when really they aren't. If Hernandez was courted by a Premier League club he'd have gone.
