Before we up many further, we need to bottom out the real question here......

What is the optimum sausage girth that allows the perfect meat to toast to beans ratio.

Hmmmm.....i feel a poll coming on.

There was a bloke who used to sell night HDM’s under the North Stand at Boothferry Park in the 50's, he would shout what sounded like, ‘pick up your head…pardon’, we never found out what he really said.

    Natural only

(unless you're referring to your 'home games' in which case synthetic is easier to clean)

Never heard of an English muffin? Also, bagels qualify as Jews are the oldest immigrants to our great country. They've been here since the 11th century - long before the full English became established as a national dish. So there!

Yes we used to go to Johns as well, when I worked at Humbrol. We started off getting normal sandwiches like bacon sausage egg tomato etc, but then every day we would add other stuff like Beetroot, beans, cheese etc etc just to see what his limits were (I'm sure one day someone had a sausage roll in a breadcake, just because he could), and also see just how much you could pack into one breadcake.

Obviously getting it all in ones gob without redecorating your overalls was the next challenge. I think John used special exploding eggs in his sandwiches, as they normally got someone every day.

This is my new, improved breakfast bar recipe: gluten-free, dairy-free and enough seeds to make you start sprouting. I’ve used no sugar, but before you start thinking this is virtuously sugar-free (which I could claim it to be), remember that the sweetness that comes from the dates is, in essence, sugar, though certainly it’s unprocessed and full of fibre at the same time.

Make these bars at the weekend, and you’ll be set up for the week if you’re someone who needs to grab-and-go in the morning.

Does no one eat muesli bars for breakfast then?

Do they have sausages in them? Bacon? Eggs, tomato, mushrooms and beans? If not they are the work of the Devil.

I used to be in the army, the crap they brought to the ranges was grim at best.

But in bread.....everything changes, it becomes more palatable somehow. So thats what people did, Cornish pasty butty, Spag bol butty, etc. Everything tastes better in bread.

    Probably the best here
Just think there's nothing worse you can have for breakfast than an unhealthy greasy fatty meal
    First meal of the day
    Energize up

My only experience of breakfast in Hull was sausage and bacon sandwiches from the guy with the small caravan on Springhead golf course, always enjoyed them, but my Dad wasn't one for venturing out for breakfast in those days.
