Congratulations Lewis on a record breaking 69 pole positions. What a way to do it too, in a rain affected lottery of a qualifying session showing his class and coming through to claim the record. You have to take your hat off to him.
I don't think that's the case at all. They are closely matched as shown in Belgium and Monza (during yesterday's dry day). Love him or hate him, Lewis is an absolute magician in the wet. Tomorrow's start will be interesting with the two feisty youngsters chasing Hamilton and being hunted by the ferraris!
WOW that makes it so much more impressive!!!! Amazing. It is difficult to know how good some drivers are as you can only really see what they do compared to their team mates.
Think its going to be a big day for Valtteri tomorrow, he needs to power through to a podium place. So far he looks a reasonable 2nd driver, but no more?
fair play, Hamilton nailed that final Q lap, and Strollololol, maybe the boy can drive as he was the most impressive in qualifying for me.
There was a few impressive performances there today. Maybe Bernie's sprinkler idea wasn't so bonkers.
Someone posted this on another site . Cut Kubica's arm off, make him drink Polish vodka right until before he passes out and the man would still out-qualify and beat Palmer during a race. How the **** is Palmer still driving an F1 car?
I stand corrected , apparently he has driven in the wet at testing sessions , but never actually in a race weekend . Still impressive I think .
Max may have had some misfortune this year but today is another example of not helping himself. He's driven like his age this year.
