My heart bleeds for the poor little feller. Brazil team-mates of Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, 25, reportedly saw him crying before the World Cup qualifying victory over Ecuador, after his move to Barcelona broke down. (Calcio Mercato - Spanish)
So, we can expect to see all the hacks and pundits who have been telling us all summer that we have to sell lining up to humbly apologise for their mistake, can't we?
Yeah, pure bollocks, and even if there's any truth to it the little ****er should think of all the Barca supporters(especially kids)that bought shirts with his name printed on and how they're shedding tears over their wasted Euros.
Page Moss and Huyton are practically Sheepland to those of us from Dovecot. #realscousers Anyhow, I brought up Garston, and specifically the Under-the-Bridgers more as an example of inbred enclave of Toffeeism. I lived in Chesterton Street as a lodger with a workmate and my girlfriend. They filmed No Surrender in The Woodcutters Club at the top of the road in the 80's. In fairness, it was no worse than Dovecot back then as evry community in Liverpool just seemed to go through @ 20 years of a blitz.
So yeah, he's still here and in the squad and all that. Nice to see all those pricks in the press who were so certain were proved so right He's a ****ing seditious **** and I hope Klopp isolates the little ****worm, if he ever plays for us again it'll be too soon ****ing classless rat Wishful thinking sadly
Haha, maybe Been reading a few things and objectively yeah there's more to it, i.e. ... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...rcelona-pep-segura-john-w-henry-a7923351.html But the guy can ****ing burn for all I care, we're not good enough for him, fine, he's not good enough for us pussy ass nigga
Interesting stuff though: I thought FSG were utterly shafted three years ago by Barca over the Luis business, especially when they got £10m knocked off the buyout, agreed to say it was 'undisclosed', then went straight to the Catalan press and told them the real price. Then they said how much they respected Liverpool... Really glad that JH is taking an interest now - Barca are a bigger club than us - this I don't deny: but FSG as an entity ****ing dwarfs them. Hope they get the message now.
Tbf...hes always wanted to take this stand...like us except new, he was told....no no.. ..contracts mean nothing...for all their failings...telling yanks contracts mean nothing???
And i may be wrong or naive but I think this window will encourage the likes of JW He came in looking to sort the league our.. .typical arrogant yank...lol But....we are going the same way their sports did...and he knows that ...corrupton with agents comes out. He again thought naively that fifa would sort it. Ffp... Think hardball might be the new thing you know..
Barca are a footballing enterprise only, their ownership structure limits them to that and what their influence can be. They're basically a provincial members' run club and their lack of business smarts shown over the last month shows it. 'More than a club' ?? Not really, however much they tell themselves that FSG is a multi-national conglomerate with multiple business interests and partners and an international reach. As soon as Henry decided he wasn't having it Barca were ****ed
Wow, big bad John, that'll teach Barca When they get Coutinho at a £15m discount they will probably tell the world it was only £10m
FSG are big enough to **** Barca's ringpiece and give them a Zapatta too. Our problem has been, since they bought the club, they had a half-arsed, moneyball attitude and were almost semi-interested. I'ved crucified them more than anyone. BUT, if they're now getting interested they should recognise the obvious - Liverpool can be the highest profile in their portfolio, even more than the Red Sox in international terms, simply because football will always trump baseball in the worldwide scheme of things. Heck, it could just be a one-off that JH has been arsed this time and this is another false dawn: but it could also be a shift in focus - we'll see. But even if/when Ford goes, and even though it will probably be for less than the £118 we were sort of offered by Barca (I suspect a lot more than the £15m you suggest too), then that's pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme, isn't it? And if FSG declare war on agents and shift the balance of power, then surely you'd agree that's a good thing for all, isn't it? PS VVD/Hypocrisy : There, I've said it for you.
