With buying players now closed who will finish top and who will go down Top 4 and bottom 3 prediction 1 UTD Now have the firepower to win games and take the title (No bias at all) <whisle> 2 ££££ very good team but Pep is not the man to take the title 3 Liverpool Good upfront but still light at the back 4 Chavs Strong team but a few players short 18 Bournemouth I think they will struggle this time around 19 Brighton Going to struggle 20 Newcastle Lack of Prem quality players and I think the F.S.W. will leave by Christmas
Dont see Liverpool finishing above us. United, Chelsea and City will be the top 3. If I was betting i'd go for United to win the league at this point. 4th place will be between Spurs, Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal. Too tough to call it I think. Going down I think Brighton, West Ham and Palace.
Umited to win it for me ... City second and Chelsea third. Liverpool may well be my 'favourite team to watch' after my own, based o.n their attacking threat ... but I don't think they are strong enough at the back to gate crash the top 3. As to who will go down? Brighton, Watford and Palace ... although I think Newcastle and Bournemouth and, rather surprisingly, West Ham, may be in for tough seasons.
Can't see us that far up. Chelsea look good but are a little thin on the ground. United Chelsea City Not sure about next 3.
I actually think City will win the league. Once they get going they'll be far too difficult to stop. Won't be much between United and City though.
If Bilic stays West Ham are going down. Usuall bullshit from Sullivan pre season ticket sale "we have an £85m transfer budget" we spent 10, we have no pace, no defensive organisation and, if Hernandes gets injured our back-ups are Carroll and Sakho. between them they've made a season worth of starts over the last 2, Carroll is out injured already and Sakho wants out so badly he even arranged his own transfer and medical, he'll probably start pretending he's injured soon.
I will have to wait and see if he has decided that defending is actually a useful quality in a team first. A team that cannot defend will never win this league, and Pep has stated he does not train his team in the art of defence. That's all well and good in la Liga. Teams like Getafe and Malaga will ******edly come at Barcelona and try to attack them like idiots out of some kind of misguided sense of honour and providing "entertainment" for the crowd. But in the PL, teams like Stoke and West Brom will happily long ball it up to a lanky striker, watch him drop like a sack of ****, win a penalty, bury it, then spend the next 60 minutes parking the bus and defending a 1-0 lead with 25% possession. Our lower teams, rightfully in my opinion, are of the opinion that their fans would rather see them tactically outfox the technically superior opponents and get some points, rather than valiantly Ned Stark'ing it and ending up getting owned.
Can't see past United this year especially after spending £460 million in three years plus the Jose's second season hoodoo. Chelsea to finish above City purely because Pep is a tosser with Liverpool 4th. Can't honestly see Arsenal making the top six as the club appears to be in meltdown. Spuds will probably steal fifth despite playing 38 away games. Newcastle with the fat Spanish waiter sacked around Christmas with Brighton & possibly Palace in tow.
United to win it from City. Hard to say the order of the next teams but reckon Spurs won't get top 4. My prediction for teams to go down before the season was Burnley, Brighton and Hudders and sticking with that for now. Newcastle and Swansea and potentially Palace have reasons to be worried too. Reckon Saints will be fighting it out with Leicester for 8th.
Spurs are well placed for the 6th place finish i have got them down for Anyone club being bankrolled by Oil money or part of a money laundering scheme will no doubt buy the title so the hollow victory will surely be theirs..nothing to shout about...all bets are closed like last season when the Manchester clubs ran away with it(again)
You are right. It was a big Manc **** fest at the start of last season, but London ended up owning the day. Cannot see that happening again though. We haven't really improved, maybe a little, or maybe regressed a little, depending on how our signings fare (though early signs seem positive for Morata, Rudiger and Bakayoko) Arsenal are a shower of ****e, and in massive crisis. And Spurs have 38 away games Two of the top 3 will be the Manc Clubs. I hope I am wrong though
i'm going out on a limb last last season but provided we don't get more than 1 or 2 major injuries (1 to morata), contes going to pull a masterclass and win his 5th title in a row. Going down i have Burnley, Huddersfield and depending if Rafa ****s off because of Ashley it'll be Newcastle or Brighton
Very early days. But at the moment Utd seem to be the side to beat. I'll be more convinced once I see them actually play a serious rival though. City, maybe. Can't see the Chavs doing it To drop Brighton, Newcastle, plus one of about six others, as per...
I couldn't see us doing it last season either, and I definitely couldn't see Leicester doing it the season before that. So I am not going to make any concrete predictions at this stage.
Hernandez was a brilliant aquisition, whatever else happens. Keep him and Antonio fit and there's no way you're going down. Sort you're defence out and you could be in for a good season.
The problems in defence have been evident for over a season and a half, can't see it changing with Bilic in charge, no pace and ridiculously gung-ho tactics which leave the slowest player on the pitch as the only player in our half, and the next 3 slowest running through syrup trying to get back.
