I wouldn't want to see Ehab in a crash. I would however like to see him spit roasted by a couple of Silverbacks.
I rate him and I believe there are more; it simply seems daft arguing the daft assertions that he has only ever turned up once and that only for the shop window. It just nonsense and easily ignored. He took MotM at a canter.
Are you suggesting that Mahrez and Van Dijk weren't aware that there were other clubs that wanted them? Van Dijk handed in a transfer request when Liverpool's offer was rejected ffs.
He handed in a transfer request a few weeks after Liverpool were forced to apologise and retract their interest, what are you on about? Many reports are they never even lodged a formal bid. I'm not going to argue the toss, but you coming in trying to come off as superior and all knowing is bloody tiresome, only for you to turn around and complain about pointless arguments. If Grosicki wanted to force through a move he had the option of handing in a transfer request, thus forgoing his loyalty bonus, and making it cheaper for us to sell him.
Even so, if he really wanted to push a move through somewhere he could have done, a loan to a bottom half PL club or something. I'm not an agent, but I'm pretty certain that he could play for the likes of Burnley or Huddersfield pretty easily.
You said you he'd have put in a transfer request if he really wanted out, I said that doesn't normally happen without the player trying to force a move to another club who he already knows are after them. You then gave an example of a player who handed in a transfer request specifically to try and force through a move to Liverpool, then accuse me of being superior and argumentative? ****ing knobhead.
Here comes the swearing and insulting and emojis. Mr High and Mighty. I gave numerous examples of players who handed in transfer requests because they wanted to move on despite no bids being lodged by any clubs. Grosicki had 'interest' from numerous clubs who didn't lodge formal bids but he didn't hand in a transfer request. FACT.
Grosicki doesn't want to be here, and the only reason he still is here is that he hasn't performed consistently enough for a team to want him. His end product was awful last year, and is only now starting to show signs of improving. I hope he performs consistently for us but when things get tough I can't see him putting in the hard yards for the team. A great performance against an awful Bolton side means nowt, let's see him do it against Cardff/Leeds etc.
This is the part I find remarkable in this discussion about a clearly talented player, at this level. I think he is doing no more than having a laugh and a joke on social media, which certainly seems to be enjoyed by his team mates. Harmless fun. Just like most of the players, he would follow serious financial improvement; so would I - wouldn't you? At the other end of the scale posters are getting strangely loving for Meyler, who is equally talented and mischievous. In the land of the blind, a one-eyed man is King ... ... Don't become a twatter twit and wait for the football to do the talking.
1. Again, there's no concrete proof that that's the case, people have just guessed that based on conjecture. 2. There was a fair amount of awful going around last season, I agree he could have done more but I think a spell in the Championship will see him become more consistent. According to Whoscored, he's managed 3 assists and 2 goals in 5 games. So on average he's having an impact every game at the moment. That doesn't sound like the workings of somebody who can't be bothered or who doesn't want to be here.
I actually took his tweets yesterday as a piss take rather than actually trying to engineer a move, but most seem to have made a pre-conceived perception about him and take everything he tweets as a cry to get out of the club.
Exactly. Why is it that when Meyler does it it's 'banter' but when Grosicki does it 'he wants out'? One thing it has highlighted is that the group are pretty close knit and enjoy a laugh with each other.
I don't give a **** about what he posts on Twitter, but he's an odd bloke, that cupping his ear to the home fans against Bolton was a ****ing weird thing to do.
When Elmo scored and pointed at the ground against Fulham two seasons ago he was a hero for wanting to stay. Grosicki making an emotional gesture after scoring to indicate he wants to stay is apparently the end of the world.
It was, but didn't Deano do it when he scored against Barnsley to the away fans? Was it Barnsley? It was in our promotion season. Anyway, I thought he was just trying to encourage a bit of noise.
Sorry forgot I'm the only one who ever offers a contrary point of view on here. Will you ever forgive me?
It's normal to do it to the away fans, that's what makes it weird to do it to your own fans, it's like shushing the crowd when you score.
I would have thought cupping your ear is intended to have the opposite effect, it's asking the fans why he can't hear them, encouraging them to make noise.
