    Sorry about the essay

Not sure. Maybe barkley long term as hes got more potential and can play a bit more. Not sure i want him at all thoughas he i think hes overrated like young jack wilshit. Think they are both brainless and hes not good enough to be as lazy as he is. drinky short term because he at least adds a body seeing barkley is injured for another few months.

Would have said no to both and have preferred chalobah to stay or play willian as a cm.

    As for clubs rejecting us;
Whether you want to believe my opinion or not

Lukaku was a split on who wanted him, we dithered and by the time we decided to get him you guys had already snapped him up

Ox deffo rejected us, he believes hes going to get a cm role at liverpool? Maybe klopp has a bigger pulling factor

Llorente not sure what happened here. Hes the one guy in all this mess i wouldnt have minded signing as a back up. Not sure if we lowballed even though he was cheap or he rejected us

Barkley refused us. Dunno why. Maybe he wants to play for pochy. I can understand that pochy has done really good at the spuds

Yes chelsea hierachy have shat on our manager again. First ancelotti, then jose and then conte. Theres a theory roman doesnt like the manager to hog the limelight.

In all seriousness its not been the worse transfer window. We have a stronger defence as long as we dont start cahill with more depth

I think bakayoko will be an upgrade on matic (time will tell).

We have replaced costa with morata (self sabotage but moratas a good signing).

What we needed was more depth if we wanted to challenge for 4 trophies or youth players breaking through if we want to be more self sufficient. We have failed to add that much more quality depth and we have loaned out all of our youth

    Pretty much bang on.
I wanted Lukaku, a lot of people didnt.
Ox I wouldn't have minded, but he was always going to play more at Liverpool than with us, probably why he chose them over us.
Barkley, I wouldnt have touched with a barge pole, overrated ****e.
Llorente I would have taken, but never mind.
Drinkwater........the only positive thing I can say is that I prefer him to Barkley......
but thats like saying you would rather have Chlamydia than AIDS.

Hopefully there'll be some shenanigans with Costa today. The way the club have treated him and vice versa has been hilarious to watch. Only at Chelsea.

I think Bakayoko was Matic's replacement.
    Drinkwater is Chalobah's replacement.

Agree 100% neither party has covered themselves in glory in that whole saga.

Costa's ****ing January sabbatical earlier this year with the whole China thing came out of nowhere, so I can understand Conte looking into a replacement, but to text the guy, the second the season is over, before you have a replacement lined up and telling him, in so many words, "Yeah **** off now, we dont want you!" is slightly baffling to me. Talk about burning your bridges! But then Costa loses all sympathy by going into hiding and not honouring his contract.
Yes the manager said he wants you to leave, so that means someone needs to buy you, and they didn't.....so until then you are a Chelsea player.

Well, in terms of Bakayoko, I am not sure. The jury is out on him, he's only had a couple of games.
Morata has looked very good so far, but will he be as good as Costa? Again, remains to be seen.

I don't foresee HUGE improvements at all, if any. But again, it remains to be seen.

And they have to play CL this season.

Easy to swagger about when you're the only top 6 club with zero European football to deal with.

    We weren't.

Liverpool also had no European football.

Last time I checked, 4th place was in the top 6!

Just enjoying the ride Lieb :).

Supporting Chelsea is like a rollercoaster ups followed by downs. Better than being stuck on the teacups like arsenal.

How do you feel about Saints transfers?

Yup, whenever I feel bad about goings on at Chelsea, I can always just look over to North London and make myself feel better <laugh>

Leicester won the league a couple of seasons ago. They're not a top 6 club.

Yes because they won the league a couple of years ago.
Liverpool finished 4th, a couple of months ago.
