I didn't read the thread, but if some kid bully's my kid at school because he is British, I will be ok with it, he has to learn. If it happens more than a couple of days, then I will be flying Trev out to sort things out. Then I'll get Simon to batter the father

 

You can get bullied in work,**** tried it on me but I stood up to him.I looked him in the eyes to show I wasn't afraid of him then I got a new car and looked him in the eyes while everyone wishing me well with new motor,classic bully and he went to me boss and said I was trying to make him lose his temper by "giving him the eyes",raging jealously and didn't help with more serious issues at home at the time but they ended well,true story.

**** bullies and **** school policies. Teach your kid to go hell for leather if they are picked on and then if the teachers have a problem with that then **** them too.

I bully Iain in here every day. It's great fun.

 

I put up with a load of sh.it at school as I was more of Kenny Rogers "promise me son not to do the things I've done" sort and avoided trouble having been told by my parents that violence never solved anything. Eventually snapped and fronted the lead "hard-man" of the bunch that used to be hostile and offered him out there and then in the middle of the playground. Told him it would be a square go, just me and him with none of his cronies to back him up. The c.unt shat it. Saw him in the street a year or so later after we'd both left school and he gave me a look so I fronted him again, this is in the middle of Ladbroke Grove mind, broad daylight and people everywhere, and said "let's have it then, here and now, your mates can join in too". C.unt shat it again and skulked off.

Moral of the story, be prepared to have ten shades of sh.it kicked out of you if you confront someone twice your size. I'd have been battered if it ever kicked off!!

Now that I am a responsible parent I have to tell the Junior Groves that bullying is wrong and so is violence but I've also told the wee lad that if it ever looks like it is all getting on top and he has no choice, he should hit first to create an opening and leg it which is what a lot of self defense experts advise too by the way.

Nobody wants their kids bullied but how do they then deal with similar situations when they grow up?

Any parent worth their salt will send their kids to boxing classes. Doesn't even need to stick it out, just get the word out amongst their age group in the playground that the wee man boxes.

No **** will try it with him. Problem solved.

However, if your kid has a visible disability, is ugly, a ******, or wears glasses, then they're on their own and should be abandoned. Same for any kids who befriend them. As a child you have to be prepared to leave people behind when the occasions arise that you need to pick sides or new pals.
