The thing is Bart most of the time the odd post from the unwashed doesn't bother me.
Numbnuts seems to want to get his point across on every thread though.

When you're the arsehole who started a fight when I was actually AGREEING with your thread, no, I'm not going to back down because you've thrown a tantrum for absolutely no reason.

However, I am off to bed to watch some TV. If the last word is important to you, you can reply to this post and victory will be yours.

To be fair the joint thread isn't a bad idea. We can have that as well as our normal single threads on our respective boards. The single threads to talk proper football and the joint threads for all the mackems inane ramblings and rants ;)

Syd's unmoderated joint thread means that if any dickhead wants to rant he can do it in there where I don't have to worry about anything and I can enjoy my day, instead of the inevitable thread here and there and wumming on other threads that I'll have to moderate and worry about.

I know it's my job, of course, but makes it slightly easier on me if we keep all the inevitable arguments, wumming and rants in one unmoderated cross board thread. The ones who want to argue WILL argue and we can't stop them either way. At least direct them all into one specific thread. It's like herding, really.

Excuse my ignorance but WTF are you doing then by camping out on the Sunderland board looking to in your words “give an opinion” but only arguing with all in sundry who give you the time of day.

Lads, it's responses he's looking for.

If everybody just IGNORED him, he'd go away.

Simples.

I have it on very good authority you are a moron. (I have proof of this in 99% of your posts. <ok> )

Now can you back up your statement about me?

Like I say mate I have no problem with the odd cross board thread when needed.
I don't think I'm being unreasonable for wanting the majority of threads on the Sunderland board to be threads on SAFC and my fellow Mackems opinions.
Chappass seems to think he needs to repeat his ramblings on every thread just in case someone managed to miss it the other 30 times.
And you will find I have copyright on saying "inane ramblings" in this thread ta much. <ok>

I think you make a good point MR and I am guilty of a few joint threads, derby fever I think. I think many are etting carried away with the joint threads, they were intended for match day threads but lots are springing up.

Maybe the Sunderland and Newcastle mods can post a gentle request to cut them down, lets get the derby out of the way then cut them. We have a danger of a few next week from th winning side so lets say now, whoever wins gloat on the other board but no joint thread gloats, that way the mods on each board can moderate and delete if it gets out of hand.

Chapaz was a very good poster but seems to have now simply become an irratant who is wrong about his,"This is a forum for debate" comment. Each board is a forum for that teams fans to debate, visiting fans are exactly that, visitors and need to bear that in mind. Like all visitors they can be evicted.

Sometimes the arguments and put-downs can be funny, but they largely lack intelligence and wit.

I can think of some Mags who I will read with interest; simonbh, overseas-toon and agent bruce are all quality poster's - the rest of the ignorant horde/herd are about as challenging as a dried turd and many Mackems too tbh -the one's that frequently bite are not the most intellectually blessed <laugh>

Chapped-Arse used to be one of those I would tolerate, but for the last 6-8 weeks he has contributed nothing more than dour-baiting, negatively oriented drivel. Mind you he's not the worst, there are others who I would happily bury in cement for the good of society

Syd - Until recently he could be counted on to contribute to the debate with logical opinions. Lately however it’s become evident that someone’s changed his medication on him without telling him. Obviously he can be added to ones blocked list but with his commenting on multiple threads it’s becoming tiresome to read through them. May I suggest he has some “time out” as my children often require as he’s obviously of about their mental age.

I wake up and there's another 15 posts about me across two threads. Come on now guys. It's the Derby tomorrow!

If it makes any consolation, I'm only posting so much because its derby week. Once that's over my give-a-**** level about sunderland will dramatically decrease. Right now though, theres a vested interest.

Syd - can you make this a joint thread - I think the OP might like that!!! <whistle>

MackemsRule - I kind of agree with you although it is sometimes funny looking through the threads and seeing some of the arguments that go on. We do have some quite opinionated people of our own (as well as they do) so it's all good fun!

Although it doesn;t matter if you post a non-communal thread for the game - their guys end up on our board commenting anyhow

MackemsRule. I was never going to come back on this board due to an argument I got embroiled in the other night - yes it was a joint thread, I didn't realise and kicked off. Stupid I know but I'm here now to thank you. You have said exactly what I think.

While i agree that looking back on some of the arguments can be funny at times, inevitably the argument has detracted from the original OP which is very frustrating for the person who did the OP.

If the "handabgs at dawn" & the "wums" brigade really feel the need to have a slanging match then why not create a Post of their own? leaving us to enjoy some decent debates.

the Liverpool and Man U s have a joint thread just for the arguments. All arguments and wums on other threads ar deleted with the joint thread just for them
