Well at least it relaxed you FLT. Up until this particular young lady I had listened to another ASMR artist who merely relaxed me just as you were. On Youtube there are people getting tingles all the time with these videos, and I was beginning to think that I might be particularly insensitive. Then they happened to me too. Anyway, it was good to try something different, eh.?

Not relaxed, absolutely zero.? Perhaps even irritated. I've read that some people throw down their headphones in disgust, which amazes me because initially it is mostly either totally boring or slightly interesting. Here's a BBC News article or two, and even a Radio 4 programme about it:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-30412358
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-35106835

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03cp9zm

I've watched it full screen on my TV and fallen asleep from almost wide awake, so it relaxes me, but I'd recommend what FLT did. Headphones [in your case adjusted to balance the volume] and full screen smartphone, and in bed. In my experience, you're off to snoozeland in minutes. Some of it depends on the ASMR artist and video, but generally you can find the ones that work. I don't mean the full blown tingles, just the complete relaxation.

But thanks for trying it pepys. A bit of feedback is also useful and fun.

Did you try the English or the Russian version.? I've realised that Russian can be a very seductive language when spoken softly by a pretty woman. Completely the opposite effect that the image of fat middle-aged, bushy eyebrowed blokes, with a power complex, sat within the walls of the Kremlin, give me. ;)

I watched 71 yesterday . I'm not getting into the rights or wrongs of the troubles in Northern Ireland , but it was a good film imho . I would have said very good apart from some bits that were a bit ott .

It was actually the Russian version that gave me the tingles.

Bit pissed off that Pézenas in France is actually cloudy today. Makes one's chin wobble a bit. We've got a private swimming pool in the back garden and I intend to use it every sodding day. ;)
Fingers crossed, but the forecast for the next few weeks is looking great. Just wish weather forecasting wasn't such an inexact science.
