How does anyone possibly know that Rafa went home fuming? Why is it that everyone seems to wish devastation on the club. This is just worst deadline day ever, not only is it total gash, but if rumours are to be believed, we are losing our manager too!
I'm more than used to us having plenty of targets. I'd be happier if we were borrowing Line from someone!
Will this mean that Haidara is now our 5th choice left back if we are keeping Achraf Lazaar? Pony won't be happy.
Do you not think Rafa can tell if they are good enough? More likely the youth system isn't good enough.
How in the F have Swansea signed Renato Sanches on loan and we have not even got a sniff of that!?! If that deal is possible unwound of expected us to be all over it. He's quality
To be fair I was thinking over a longer timescale. It just infuriates me that when other teams have a left back injured they will play a left back. We preferred to stick a defensive midfielder in there rather than a left back because we never give the kids a chance. I'm thinking more of previous seasons when the likes of Colback or Anita were played there.
Clement with the pulling power, and Swansea have the big wedge of cash to pay a substantial loan fee.
According to Simon Jodan it is all down to Clement being a better manager than Rafa. Of course that assumes that Rafa is allowed to play any part in the recruitment process other than identifying targets.
An inability to listen and a general attitude of assuming other players and teams will just accept something because it is what we want.
Why would you, if he didn't mention it immediately. It looks as though he wants the 6 months to get match fit and compete with Bertrand when he returned.
