Just qualified for Monza:

Using the settings from posts above as a template:
FW: 165
RW:180
E: 886
B: 600
G: 950
S: 700

Q1: 1:33:947 (4th)
Q2: 1:36:556 (5th)
Current position on grid at time of posting: 4th

using GO I used a fuel calculation based on data from the Indy Oval which was also 'Very high' (1.19Km/l) I didnt have much data to go by on tires but for a 2 stop I hope the soft compound will be enough
stint 1: 83l
stint 2: 88l
stint 3: 88l

Also I have a dilema with my driver. I have decided to extend his contract for next year as im pleased with his results and I think he can help push for promotion next season. trouble is after resent good results he is now lvl78 so I dont want him to go over lvl85 or I will lose him come the rookie reset. If I have a good result at monza I may have to miss the next race or the final race.

I was worried about my driver, I had just replaced my driver who was issued to me with one that I had sign. His first race was the last one and it wasn't as good as I was expecting so I was a little worried. I made a mistake because I qualified with my old driver, and his settings so I was hoping for better.

Q1: 1:32:622 (2nd)
Q2: 1:35:456 (1st)
Current position on grid at time of posting: 1st (but a lot of other drivers still to qualify)

I wasn’t sure about the strategy so I’ve gone with Medium tyres, and a 2 stopper. I worked out that the race will require approx 285 Litres of fuel (conservative estimate),

stint 1: 90l
stint 2: 100l
stint 3: 95l

I know that I’ve over filled but I want to make sure I finish, I still haven’t scored any points, so that is my aim for this race.

My driver is currently level 89, but if you go over $15 million in debt your driver loses all motivation, which I think will get him down to level 85 before the new season. We’ll see how he does in the next race before I decide to keep him or not.

Have not qualified as well as you guy, only 14th :(.

I did the same as Bando and use my data from Indianapolis for fuel which needed 3.4lt of fuel a lap which is about 1.19lt of fuel per km. Monza is also 15km shorter in race distance so it should be enough fuel (259lt).

As for tyres I used my Austria data as a very rough estimate. In Austria (medium on tyres like Monza) my soft tyres that I used were good for about 124km. This rough estimate should mean that a two stopper is possible at Monza on them which GO also said. The temperature is meant to be quite cool as well so that should help preserve tyres for a little longer as well hopefully.

I am also in the driver situation, my driver when I hired him was 84 but now he is 87 so hopefully he will have a few crap races near the end of the season and go back down a bit.

3 points finishes in a row with a 7th in monza. My fuel strategy was spot on as I finished with 0 litres. may have been able to risk an extra soft tyre though as my tires where well intact at each pit stop. My driver is now lvl80 so maybe I can risk the next 2 races

I was on for a points finish but I ran out of fuel 2 laps from the end. <grr> Finished 14th.

I need to start qualifying better as well started from 18th so had a lot to do in the race.

Bit of a disaster for me, I was really hoping for points in this race but my tyres were wrong. I went for medium tyres and a 2 stopper. At my stops my tyres were at 50%, so I could have went for Soft or Extra Soft :( O well it’s all a learning experience.

I started 8th, but went down to 17th straight away and never got any where near the points again. I finished 13th I think because a few people had problems.

I’m still hoping to score points this season, but we’ll have to wait and see if it’s possible for my current team. I’m still undecided if my driver is worth keeping, does anyone know what good stats for drivers are? My driver is the following:

Overall: 90
Concentration: 131
Talent: 156
Aggressiveness: 5
Experience: 165
Technical Insight: 44
Stamina: 4
Charisma: 117
Motivation: 91

Weight: 98
Age: 31
Salary: $693,308

I think I can de-motivate him and get him back down to Level 85 if needed.

My data for France Magny Cours:

FW: 575
RW: 625
E: 700
B: 400
G: 440
S 700
Tyre: Soft
Fuel: I've guessed at 1.2/Km

Also I made a mistake in Qual 2, it's RAINING, and I put on dry tryes :( Go told me when I was working out fuel data, so I've corrected it for the start of the race.

Has anyone got an idea of how long the soft tyres will last here? I have got a very rough estimation of 24 laps (105km) but I do not trust it that much.

My Q1 set up was:

FW: 484
RW: 493
E: 531
B: 400
G: 480
S: 519

I have not done Q2 yet because I am still thinking about strategy.

105 km with soft tryes is my best guess too. That's what I have based my fuel data on.

Qualified 7th (at the moment). What is everyone doing in regards to strategy and the weather? At the moment I am starting on rain tyres but I am considering taking a punt and start on dry tyres and hope the rain goes away straight away.

Hello,

Welcome to the game :) it's alot to take in at first, but it does get easier. I find that the posted data here really helps, as I would of been lost without it.
