Are the media guilty of inciting hate in our society. Unfortunately there are still millions of brits hanging on their every word. Daily mail have shot themselves in the foot after publishing a story twice, once with a photoshopped image in it. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Before anybody points out that it could be the Mail who are getting stitched up, the image is a getty photo stock image, original can be google searched. The mail has now changed the image back to the original with the face pixeled out which only make sense if they were planing to use the excuse of protecting the identity, but it's a stock photo, the person in the image have long since given consent, and the picture is unrelated to the story. I mean, surely the story is bad enough without trying to throw an extra firework in there. Telling you the press are evil, they've got too tight a grip on society and too many lap up their ****.
The predominantly right wing press thrive on peoples fears and insecurities and play their readership like a grand piano..

I think you're being a little outdated in your assessment there. The left wing has more nontraditional media outlets all over the place and they can be just as divisive. Neither side is all that great.

Yes, especially after it was discovered that said girl was born with non-practicing muslim grandparents, our media have turned this story into a hate story for their own ends.. I despise our gutter press and media, stopped reading the **** years ago. I go to RT for my balanced news views and love reading about the how Western press see Putin as the monster man ffs.. Put it this way, I'd rather have him in control than the bossy, incompetent, alienated stupid thick as pig **** bint that is overseeing the most hapless government in years running our show.. Comedians were not the topic of discussion mate.. I would say the majority of comedians are left leaning.. We are talking about the UK press though.. These are predominantly right leaning and are the ones largely responsible for spreading the lies to incite hatred..
Yep, no interest in comedians spinning jokes. I'm talking about the people entrusted to deliver us FACTS on a daily bases and their moral obligation to society which they've abandoned for profit.
Of course they are. They sell hate, fear and ignorance. They have no interest in telling people the actual truth. Many newspapers either lose money or struggle to break even and yet they are generally owned by multi-millionaires who enjoy having them. Why do they want to own them if they don't make money? It's simply a socially accepted form of brainwashing. Hate sells and people love drama more than facts.
The Press are no doubt as guilty as everyone claims but there is a but to this. From time to time they will get their teeth into a story and keep at it till they achieve some good. Even the Daily Nazi, (as I think of The Mail), has done this, most recently in being able to take a large part of the credit for getting Marine A released. So they aint all bad all of the time. I suppose the question is, is it worth putting up with their bias if they also do some good?
I would say no... The UK tabloid press have undermined our democratic process for decades now and they need to be brought to task for printing lies and spreading hatred.
