Everton have agreed a £8.5m deal to sign Idrissa Gueye's younger brother Marvin.....It hasnt been on Sky Sports but I heard it through the Grapevine.....

Ain't no river Mersey wide enough to keep Mo from getting two Gue babes

Chelsea livid with Liverpool
09:45: Chelsea are furious with Liverpool and Arsenal after missing out on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Arsenal winger looked set to join the Blues after both clubs agreed a £40million fee.

But the England international rejected a switch to north London at the last minute as he was holding out for a move to Liverpool.

The Reds then made their move and are now on the verge of completing his transfer after the 24-year-old underwent a medical at St George’s Park last night, where he has been with the England squad preparing for tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier in Malta.

And the Mirror claim Chelsea have been left angered by the actions of Liverpool and Arsenal, feeling like they have “been played” by the Anfield club to try and force Arsene Wenger’s side into selling to them.

F#ck them. Stick in a cheeky bid for Drinkwater....

My heart bleeds for them.

Replacing 2 of your best players last year. Do you think you've stood still, gone backwards or forwards so far? Especially given the increased number of games.

It's been a poor summer. Would have preferred some better targets and a bit more depth. Wingbacks are a position we have 0 depth in. I think our attack can get by especially when Hazard is back and we need to be lucky with injuries.

Honestly, i think we've stood still. Costa was brilliant at what he does but Morata has more guile. We will see how that goes.

I think Bakayoko will be an upgrade on Matic (in this formation) but he came in injured and we seriously lack depth as if Kante or Bakayoko get injured, we SHOULDN'T be playing cesc there imo. He can only play where he has no responsibilities.

The biggest letdown is that we have really only improved our defence.

Big names or youngsters. Get one or the other. Instead, we have stood still (like for like replacements) and instead of blooding youngsters or signing the big names, we've replaced what we got and we're now scrambling after some bang average overpriced players for some depth.

Out of Ox, Barkley, Llorente, Drinkwater, at all them prices i would have said no to all except Llorente who is relatively cheap and will be a backup. I could have stomached Ox as he's still young and we need depth at Wingback bu didn't like the price. Deffo no to barkley and drinky

All great if he doesn't get injured. What if he does? I suppose you have that young lad who did well with England U23's Dom Sol...something can't quite remember.

Same as last year. We're ****ed!. Batters can't do much except stand in the box and score goals. Think the way our team is structured we need a bit more than that (conte needs a holdup man, not necessarily powerful but someone who doesnt lose the ball due to outmuscling and bad touch. Batters fails on both) as we normally play on the backfoot in the sense we are quite deep and don't pass our way out in 25% of the games

edit: We might get away with it if hazard comes back. Hazard, pedro, willian actually played really well when Costa was dropped/benched. Could be like what Napoli do with mertens up front
